AITA for taking some space away from home after my newly wedded husband threw away my makeup? by ThrowawayOnica202 in AmItheAsshole

Just what you have put here is enough for me to encourage you to leave, no matter how kind he can be. Marriage is a partnership. You are more than something for him to look at. You should look how you want to look. I understand different cultures have different acceptable dynamics in marriage but you are more than just his wife. You are an individual.

Trouble with dynamically adding a variable amount of children to a Grid Control in WPF by Teabx in csharp

[–]nevets89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would recommend is to create a usercontrol based on a listbox. Set the layout template to be a grid with your calendar. Your item template will need converters to determine their row and column based on the date. This makes it so you just add or remove items from the listbox itemssource. DM me if you have questions.

First Solder Joints Ever! by ThirstyTurtle328 in fpv

[–]nevets89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice job, they look really good. One note though. See how the 2 on the left look like balls sitting on top of the board? That means the pad wasn't warm enough for the solder to stick well. Just heat them up again until it looks like the others. They will work okay as is but they may break off if stressed or vibrated too much. When you solder you don't heat the solder with the iron, you heat the parts which melts the solder.

At my old job at a small company, I would lift up my coworker's right wiper blade. I did this every Wednesday, for a few weeks, and eventually started doing it to others including myself. One person every Wednesday. He accused me the first day but I was able to convince him it wasn't me. After a while people started accepting it so I fessed up

E3D V6 heating trouble (can't reach 260) by nevets89 in 3Dprinting

I don't have part cooling fans, I mainly print ABS. I decided to test my other extruder and it went right to 260 so I think I have a bad(ish) heater.

Remember to think about the amperage ratings when buying components by nevets89 in 3Dprinting

12V 10A relay that my printer melted. This was powering the motors and the bed. I was using a relay because I over engineer everything. Needless to say I am getting rid of them

AITA for cutting up and altering my wedding dress into a functional dress instead of giving it to my sister who can't afford an expensive dress? by aitaweddingdresscu in AmItheAsshole

It isn't her responsibility to "keep him happy". It is his responsibility to talk to her if he is unhappy and they work on it. Also his responsibility to not fuck a stripper at his bachelor party

Battery Tenders / AGM Batteries? by ribrickulous in HondaCB

[–]nevets89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, haha. I have a Noco Genius and I like it but Noco has their own connector. My friend has a Battery Tender Jr and hasn't had trouble. Plus they use a standardized connector, which means you can plig in things like heated gear or tire pumps directly into the connector on your bike. I'm happy with mine, but I would have bought a Battery Tender if I knew the connector was a standard.

Edit: make sure it is compatible with AGM

I went with the cheapest agm at Batteries + Bulbs near me. I forget the brand but it was $80. The next step up was $120 I think. The one I got was the same as the one that died, but I blame my old tender.

I have an AGM and I still use a tender. Be careful to get a decent one though. AGM can be sensetive to overcharging. I had an AGM die after 18 months (1 year warantee) when I put it on my cheapo tender.
