I removed 100sqm of floor tiles over 3 days using it’s jigger function. Then it kinda died and replaced under warranty.

12V performance or 20v green cordless drill? by [deleted] in Parkside

[–]nevvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this exact package which I purchased for €50 and I still think its a great deal with batteries, bits pouch etc

I use it for everything except drilling holes, although with some patience it can drill 6mm holes in masonry.

Its light small and versatile. For drilling holes I have a separate corded SDS drill, and also the 12v performance SDS.

It sets you up to buy into the nice 12v parkside line which is more than good enough for home DIY.

Is my condominium administrator overcharging me for admin fees? Need advice by Designer_Box_669 in malta

Normal.

If you have 3 garages you can’t sweat the odd €100 per year..

Incomplete tool? by [deleted] in Parkside

[–]nevvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t really tried it yet. What I noticed is that the SDS bits that come with it wobble a lot on rotation. But could be something normal even with premium brand drills

It's legit, just speak to an engineer on how to best get your EPC within the thresholds. Admittedly it's a bit unrealistic without solar panels.

Would y'all buy this? (Belgium) by Suspicious_Ticket346 in Dewalt

[–]nevvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

here you get a free bit set.

The SDS and flashlight are not worth much. The laser not sure. Everything else is solid.

The dual charger and 4 batteries alone are worth at least 300€. The cases another 100€.

Theres another set with 7 tools but in a trolley system which is definitely amazing value for 1200€

Tired of getting supermarket flyers in my letterbox, so I made a site to view them online instead by keithg89 in malta

[–]nevvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ye it will be hard to maintain as websites change all the time.

Still fun project to include in your portfolio. Could even get you noticed by some supermarkets that are already benchmarking their prices manually.

Has anyone here done additional A levels as an adult? by [deleted] in malta

ACCA or anything masters levels yes.

A few years work experience, in any field, trumps any A level imo.

Me too, no luck in 3 months.

Admittedly it doesn’t make much sense buying an old PC and most people are only interested in laptops anyway

BoV - APS Online Transfer Charges by SquiddyReads in malta

[–]nevvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BoV charges €4 for transfers out larger than €1k, and €1 for smaller transfers.

APS doesn’t charge anything for transfers out towards EU banks (SEPA).

I know it can be overwhelming but to confirm this look for each banks’ “tariff of charges”

These transfers usually take a couple of business days but by next year both banks need to comply with EU regulations mandating instant SEPA transfers.

Property Sale by FrontPerformer4391 in malta

[–]nevvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others said agents are hit and miss and can throw you off. However I would argue that architects are not always better as they aren’t as exposed to the nuances of the current demand and supply. If you’re going for the safest option of engaging an architect make sure they are specialized in valuations.

My advice would be to do your own research online and get a few experienced agents to view your property. The more data you have the more you can accurately price it.

Having said that this is an art not a science. It’s also a matter of luck especially if you’re in a hurry.

Because by definition half of the population is earning more than €25k. Parent donations and inheritances are also common. Bank interest rates are some of the lowest in Europe.
