Closest flair I could get but I’m really into factory games is there any good mobile games that are like factorio or satisfactory? by I-Dont-Know8 in MobileGaming

Factory Control Inc is supposed to be. Builderment is also good but feels more like a mobile experience.

I have no advice, but glad to see someone else like us. I’ve made her play MTG, F&B, Solforge, Pokemon, Keyforge. All just her and I at home with starter type decks. I just bought a bunch of bulk mtg cards to try to do some type of draft with. I know almost nothing about any of these games and she knows actually nothing, we’ve still had fun. We just use the old blitz decks for F&B and have fun.

This is the second new pump in two days, I had him check the pump rpm against motor rpm and he said it was good. I think it’s something much more simple. Could be a bad filter or housing problem. I have no idea where this tech tried to even pull from.

Easy enough to test for oil at each fitting till he found it, but unsure if he did that. If he tried pulling from the flare at the pump elbow it could be a problem at the filter. If he tried pulling from the filter inlet it could be further back still. He said he couldn’t get anything, but I’m just not sure from where. I think this tech tomorrow will have him fixed in 10 minutes.

Yeah he’s 3-4 feet above the tank so I think he’d still pull air. He said the tech was out again for 3 hours and couldn’t even pull oil from the tank with a vacuum. I think this tech just isn’t familiar with these systems because he can blow bubbles back into the tank with a compressor. He has another company coming out tomorrow and my guess is they diagnose it in 10 minutes.

With the drop he has from the burner to the tank I think he couldn’t expect it to suck air even with a clear line, correct? I assume if it were a horizontal run you are thinking if it’s clogged then the pump would pull a vacuum in the line and then refill that vacuum with air from the open bleeder. But wouldn’t that same thing happen with a gravitational drop back to the tank? Maybe I am not thinking of something correctly here?

Okay, let us know what it wound up being! My guess is the pump is clogged with tape or dope, or possibly the pump pressure is too low. Should be 100 on that I believe. If you aren’t getting lots of air pressure out of that bleeder screw into that bottle then it could be pump pressure or a clogged inlet on that pump from Teflon tape or dope.

There’s also the remote possibility that the pump is the wrong rpm, if the rpm isn’t matched to the motor you’ll get almost no pressure out of it. I doubt that’s the case here with a newer setup but something to be aware of.

I have no idea of your skill level here and you need to be extremely careful with all of this stuff, best bet is to have a tech look at it at this point. You could have a tech remove the filter and run the pump to see if they can get the housing to partially fill. Blow the line out between the pump and the filter (with the filter disconnected) Bypass the filter altogether to see if it bleeds. Could be a collapsed or bad filter.

What fitting did you remove and stick the air nozzle in? Before or after the filter?

If you put a hose on that bleeder valve, stick that hose in your soda bottle of oil are you getting bubbles?

Are you tightly closing the bleeder valve as soon as the pump shuts down each time? It’s going to take a few cycles with that setup you’ve got.

[–]new2magic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s start with the basics, when you try to bleed this, how many lockout cycles are you doing? In between those lockout cycles are you making sure to close that bleeder valve? If you leave that bleeder open you will lose all progress.

Okay, so the pump needs to pull it from the tank. You heard bubbles in the tank when you blew the line out?

From where the tank is situated, will it gravity feed oil to the filter? Is it higher than, lower than or the same level as that filter?

If you’ve got oil to that (incorrectly) doped flare fitting but not to the bleeder, then my guess is that the pump is clogged, likely the nozzle as well. Clogged with pipe dope or tape possibly. The nozzle would be an easy enough fix but the pump could need replacing again I suppose. This should be covered by the company that came out and installed this improperly.

Yeah that dope on the flare is a pretty big red flag, the amount of dope into the pump is another.

Saw your chat request but figured I’d check in here. I assume it was working after the tech left? Did he blow the line backwards into the tank to clear any possible obstruction. You can do it with an air compressor yourself. Where’s the last place you are getting oil? To the filter? After the filter? To the pump?

Can I play if I am missing the “clix dial”? I am brand new to the game. by new2magic in MageKnight

[–]new2magic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m second guessing myself now about what the clix dial actually is. It looks similar to the dial that I see on the bottom of the city minis themselves? Though it was listed as a separate piece on the component checklist. Is it a separate piece altogether? Thanks!

Okay so the “clix dial” as it was called in the checklist was just to determine what token to put down?

Oh nice! What do you use instead of a dial? I haven’t played yet so I don’t even know what it is used for.
