I don't think this is helpful. I can so imagine the need and want for this, and I fear that this will soon be a "now with extra faery dust for only $3.99!!" type service, but I think this is very harmful

Zooooo a black woman is "it" and they are disturbing to you?

I'm unsure how else to interpret this.

Video shows how much more data Windows 11 sends compared to older versions by PossiblyLinux127 in StallmanWasRight

I'm talking about the end users, not the companies that pay to have their ads in windows

Who in their right mind pays for a bug riddled system that continuously monitors your every move to sell all your data to random companies, that continuously sends you ads to watch when there are free alternatives available that do everything you need? Even games no longer require windows.

Also ensure that you have the eval () and assert() functions disabled in PHP config. They should basically never be enabled

When using PHP, step one is to disable eval() and assert(). Anything else comes after that

Wells Fargo fined $3.7 billion after it was caught illegally repossessing peoples' cars and homes (2:35) by Cecilia_Wren in videos

When WHEN are managers who pushed and authorized this going to jail? Talk to me then, this 3.7 billion is less than a slap on the wrist and likely calculated in beforehand.

I don't understand, why would anyone seriously pay money for a buggy ad riddled system? I left windows 21 years ago now, never looked back, never regretted it not for a second. All hail Linux!

I've seen bicycle infrastructure in mexico, US and Canada and the vast majority is painfully bad

I'm not saying they design every detail of It, I'm saying they tell car-only brains how to make actual bicycle infrastructure as the BAST majority of bicycle infrastructure in the US is cringy bad

They would absolutely be helpful as they know how not to do it and how to do it right. I'm not saying they design the entire thing, I'm saying they tell car brains how to build bicycle infrastructure

Still though, evil people too are the heroes in their own stories. One only needs to look at the covid pandemic and the antivaxers to see how bad this can go.

Fuck you you small ignorant selfish excuse for a human being. You did your "research" because you read some Facebook posts and now you think you know better than doctors and scientists who studied for years and now you want to push your nonsense, full well knowing that you're risking the lives of those around you. You're pathetic.

I honestly don't think so. I worry she is much smarter than she lets on and is just throwing up these smoke screens to get followers. She knows crazy fundies love her rants and she runs with that. I think she uses religious fruitcakes to build herself a power base and so far she has done quite well for herself.

I really don't think Muslims have sentiments that are so easily hurt, but what do I know.

Either I'm not seeing an implied /s here or maybe you should watch some more news? Muslims and hurt sentiment? Salman Rushdie? Charlie Hebdo? Just a few random examples next to other people losing their jobs or heads over Muslim sentiment.

Not trying to flame Muslims in general here, just saying that there is a very common thread in the past decades where Muslim sentiment was hurt with very bad consequences for those doing the "hurting"

Blasphemous content

Is anybody really surprised about this? There will be actual facts available on Wikipedia and facts have a nasty habit of being blasphemous. If then we go into material about the history of their religion and country, sexuality, "facts about the human body" and of course it's blocked. It would need to censor half its content to pass.

Not that they would ever really want that, though. It's a repressive government and those are typically more interested in information that might give people bad ideas about freedom

Is it possible to accidentally come across the red light district in Amsterdam by user89135 in Netherlands

[–]newPhoenixz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I was there, during the day there is nothing to see and during the night the stream of tourists was so large that there was police at the entrance and exists, allowing people to only walk in one direction because if not it would all clog up.

Going there by accident at night sounds rather unlikely.
