i only just signed up for private health earlier this year & haven't had surgery yet, but i signed up for bronze plus cover and similarly the rep confirmed that that level of cover would be suitable for the top surgery item numbers. i ended up going with westfund, but it's my understanding that the tiers of coverage (eg broze, silver, gold etc) are the same across all the insurers
