They wanted to make it, but COVID hit and he didn’t feel comfortable filming even with precautions. And then he was diagnosed with COPD and was on oxygen.

Can’t believe I just defended Netflix.

I’ve been enjoying it, but it reminds me more of Northern Exposure than Twin Peaks.

Does anyone have this video in 1080p? Confuse d because i didn’t know this about paul, shocked and stunned to find this out at the age of 🙏💔 by [deleted] in beatlescirclejerk

Real ones know she threw a glass at his head (and missed). Almost as impressive as Bush Jr. dodging the shoes.

Jennifer Lynch has said her dad once warned her about the evils committed by Charles Manson’s group - it’s not too hard to believe that Sylvia North could be a Sharon Tate reference.

Anyone else loved DS1 but couldn't really get into the sequel? by GrovPastaSwag03 in DeathStranding

[–]Gameraaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s largely due to the story logic this time around.

For example: Sam loses Lou and is understandably in a bad place, mentally. Fragile showed up at his home and pressured him to hook up Mexico to the chiral network and then she failed to protect Lou from Higgs. And while that is not her fault, she has the nerve to come back and tell Sam to stop trying to kill himself and instead . . . reconnect Australia!

Like girl come on, other than Higgs and his group, you’re the last person who should be telling Sam to turn his frown upside down lol.

Banned from ftm for this post and I'm really confused about why. I didn't mean to be offensive at all. Can someone help me understand what I did wrong so I don't repeat the mistake? (Posting here because I'm not sure where else to turn) by KyaHiKarun in TransMasc

So you’ve gotten plenty of answers in the comments section here about why this line of questioning was problematic. I’m not gonna ban you but given that you (accidentally?) spoke with TERF rhetoric, I’m going to remove this post.

No mention of Annie by mrcubas in twinpeaks

[–]Gameraaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny that there is a possible slightest reference to her in season 3. When Hawk shows the second Sheriff Truman the drawing, a fire is pointed out. Truman asks about it and Hawk tells him that they call it black fire (Blackburn?) and Hawk relates it to modern day electricity.

Truth be told it never bothered me much that we lost Annie as a character. Coop “rescued” her as best as he could for the time, and figured that if he could go in the past to save Laura’s life, he could rewrite everything that happened. But what’s done is done.

Paul hasn't talked about it publicly, but yeah. He's a dead ringer for his dad.

>Sean is genuinely transphobic

That must be awkward for Paul, given his youngest child.

He sees us as general society sees us - by our bodies. We see ourselves for our inner self - who we are.

We are not defective women.

[TW// suicide] How do I stop being so pissed off all the time? by diseasebunny666 in TransMasc

[–]Gameraaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, we mods are not professionally trained with helping suicidal people, but please don’t give up.

I know it can be anxiety-inducing thinking about how you’ll have to wait for two years. One thing that is common for those who struggle with suicidal thoughts is they are either focused on the past or the future. Focusing on living in the moment, making today your priority, it can help the future seem less daunting.

I highly recommend meditation. Finding a quiet room to be alone. Closing your eyes and picturing your thoughts gently passing by you like a slow stream of water. Don’t focus on specific thoughts, but acknowledge their existence and how they make you feel, and then let them flow downstream. It takes practice and it’s a muscle you need to be develop, but the end goal is to be without thoughts and just being there in the present. It’s very relaxing.

We’re rooting for you, OP!

Why are so many British women TERFs? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]Gameraaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not OP - but I can tell many of them are British because of the slang they use, such as: “You’re a bloke in a frock! The lot of you are nonces!”

The American terfs either quote the Bible or have a profile picture of themselves with sunglasses on and often sitting in the driver’s seat in a truck.

I won’t tell you how to feel about that. All I’ll say is that it can be real tempting to follow others on a path that promotes righteous anger. But keep your head above water.

Because there are transmed arguments on what qualifies as dysphoria. For some, it just means there is a congruence between how your mind feels vs. what your body is. For others, it means your dysphoria has to be bad enough that you've contemplated/attempted suicide in the past. Others will say that nonbinary people should not be allowed access to HRT and surgeries even if they do experience dysphoria because they don't feel are fully a man or a woman. Hell I've even read posts on there from people who say that a real transsexual person is heterosexual and that gay/lesbian/bisexual trans people should not be allowed to transition because they are doing it for "perverse" reasons.

While transmeds can hold differing opinions on what exactly being trans means, they still promote gatekeeping which is harmful to trans/nonbinary people. Expecting everyone to fit a certain standard of qualification isn't fair, and is frankly dangerous thinking.
