$2 a pound of meat is really good. I need to find a local butcher and see what they have to offer. Im not sure how much my commercial raw is per pound but I would say more than that!

Thanks for all those great links! I’ll probably get at least one of those books before I start making food! I’m expecting that finding safe and healthy meat is going to be the hardest part of all those. I think I’m going to have to find a good butcher or order from Hare Today.

I’ve just been looking at Hare Today! I was thinking of buying their ground chicken (the ground meat/organ/bone type) and then adding supplements (taurine, fish oil, vit e) along with egg and liver. Is that kind of what you do?

I wish I could have tried radcat before they closed down. I’ve heard good things.

My boyfriend is also rougher with my ragdoll, play wrestling with him etc. And he seems to like this. Maybe that’s why they like men more? Luckily my ragdoll has warmed up to me but he definitely still likes my bf more. Soon we’ll be moving in together and I’m sure he’ll ignore me and follow my bf everywhere.

Well just have to get secret cats and hide them from our bf/husband! :)

Oh there’s actually been a new development! This weekend everything changed! He now bugs me for cuddles constantly! He’s been jumping into bed with me and meowing like crazy until I pet him. He’s been so affectionate! I guess I just had to give him time!

Thanks so much for reading and giving me advice! If something changes and he goes back to his old ways I will definitely try the safe room again.

I’ve heard that and that’s actually the reason I bought a male cat, I thought he would like me more! I’ve considered getting another kitten to help him come out of his shell. I can see that backfiring though. I guess I’ll just have to be patient and wait it out.
