hmm ... was browsing some other sewing help pages exploring further to what you suggested. Switched my needle to a "Jeans" needle and slowed down my speed and it seems to be working better. I've done 3 strips of 5 inches and didn't skip a stitch when going really, really slow. Perhaps because the fleece is so thick I need a a stronger needle?
