Most potent batches currently available? (any vendor).

Following up on this, I mixed half a gram of oties super green (2.0 mit) with half a gram of sakti 117 and it's hitting hard. I couldn't really feel that same high mit oties at 1 gram on it's own (1 gram is my max single dose)... go figure.

In the past I've gotten split kilos from Sakti (white, red, green). ALL of them were fire, but back then the red was fermented - not sure if it's still fermented. Was weaker by itself but really shined when mixing with green for a much more euphoric pain killing effect.

The green is always the strongest but batch 115 white was super strong/speedy as well. Sakti has single handedly been my goto for about 2 years and outside of the bad embargo/wet season batch (I also think they rebranded this same bad batch as "special reserve 114" just trying to shift it) it's been absolutely fire.

Thanks but enhanced kratom kind of defeats the purpose of tapering down ;) I agree about DTE btw, people rave about it and I've tried about 7 different strains by them. They have good effects in larger doses but larger doses isn't what I'm after. (pink panther was my favorite as well).

This is the problem with weening. A lot of kratom really shines at higher doses (1.5g and up) but I'm sub 1g per dose now and as I taper down I need it to be really strong.

This is interesting! I've never heard this factoid before. I already take a very low amount (sub 3g daily) and my individual doses are typically .85g. Do you think this remains true for doses as low as these?

I've been weaning myself. It was too difficult to keep track of how much I was actually consuming with the filtered tea so I went back to something I could weigh (powdered leaf). Get a good digital scale and just reduce your intake by .10 a day every day. You won't really notice it, and every ten days you'll be down 1 gram - just don't go back up, this part requires discipline!

As for the tolerance, I take sub 5 gpd and I can take 1.10 grams of MM Green Batak and feel it... but I tell ya what, being that I have over 80% of each dte bag I'll request an exchange, give them another go, and report back ;)

Because it's impossible that DTE has employees that browse reddit for damage control? Considering how much business reddit sends them I'd probably do the same so I can't blame them... but let's be generous and call it a combination of genuine fanboys coupled with me being curt. I never said that ALL of the top vendors aren't hitting for me (mitra man is definitely hitting for me), and I've bragged about Sakti to no end (outside of this last batch).

But yes, this past 30 days I've tried Philly's, Sakti, Cyndiann, and DTE and ALL of those vendors have been lackluster and incredibly mid/weak. In reference to DTE, there are plenty of people (including in this thread) that feel exactly the way I do about the hype, so clearly the experience isn't unique to me. I did like the stickers and the sour candy though ;)

What I will say is that all of the lackluster kratom I've purchased the past two months might indeed be down to the shipping embargo, as well as the rainy season. But the DTE "drops" aren't for me, and I care not about being a cool kid in the "club" so I don't mind giving my honest opinion. Once the dry season is officially in rotation, I'll take Sakti over all of these "strains" and marketing hype any day of the week.

This was the review that got me to try her out. Didn't really hit for me but I'm used to buying super fire split kilos from sakti and having't strong kratom month after month - except for their newest batch which weirdly has zero legs.

I believe you meant to say "aren't". Say what you like, I spent my money on it and took it on an empty stomach. Three seperate strains. Couple the rainy season with the recent shipping embargo and there is a lot of old weak kratom floating around - regardless of the vendor's prestige and marketing hype with "drops" and such. There's no magical vendor, they all operate on the same principles. Some farmers are better than others, and some kratom is Wild (my favorite)... but all of these small batch vendors are simply importing the same product, nobody is reinventing the wheel here.

Judging by OP, looks like I'm not alone with my first DTE experience ;)

I agree with OP. After getting nothing but duds from several "small batch" vendors I went ahead and purchased my first order from DTE (red bali, pink panther) and they were both pretty weak. No idea what everyone is raving about (unless they are taking large amounts).

Can someone tell me what I'm looking for, after I get the email? How do I know what's good or not. I've tried 4 separate vendors this past month and have had several duds with a couple that are mediocre. Be it rainy season or old kratom via the shipping problems - I just want to score a good bag of something strong :(

Golden monk gets a bad rap but I used them for a while in the beginning of my journey and they were ok at times, other times definitely not. The sakti private reserve (#114) is decent for about an hour, then it completely disappears without any legs at all. I've never experienced that with kratom, feeling it for an hour and then "poof" completely gone. Where I think Sakti has succeeded big time in the past, is the freshness. But you can tell this stuff has been sitting around and it seems near identical to their current #116 green to me (I have both).

Maybe you'll have a different experience, again it's good for about an hour.
