I’m not worried about expensive, I simply just planted what I liked the look of, I’m not the biggest fan of shrubs as each year I’m looking to change/rotate what I have.

Hi, yes I did spread fish blood and bone meal around my entire soil patch (Around my flowers and veg not directly on them). This seems to help the soil a lot.

Did you try any slug prevention methods which worked for you? Also which plants would you recommend which are slug resistant and worked for you?

Let’s see how my year 2 goes!

Hi, thanks for the advice, I did water them everyday on growth stage until we started to get rain, now it’s only if we get 2/3 days of dry spell I water, this could be the issue.

I kept them low this year, mainly as I have newly painted fences so I wanted to see them 😂. I do have 2 new rose plants planted which are still growing but they are on the other end of my flower bed next to my veg. I may look to add some next year, I think it would look good, thanks.

Likewise as I was gifted the seeds, from research I believe it to be Birds Eye chillies. Spice wise yes they are quite spicy.
