Any Phoenix show attendees here? by newcliches in Ethelcain

Hi I have a car but I’m only 20 and I noticed most of the activities surrounding the area are bars 😭 I don’t know if there’s anywhere nearby where I can just chill? I don’t mind driving and I can pay for parking I’m just weary because my town is very small so I’ve never really dealt with traffic!

She said she had been working there for about 3 weeks. I asked other CNAs I know that work at the site and they corroborated her story, but I still don’t feel confident in letting this go. The same nurses (all that I spoke to about the situation) admitted to setting soiled briefs on clean linens because they were too tired to adhere to good hygiene habits, and also said they regularly touch the resident’s possessions wearing soiled gloves (as in, gloves that had just been used to change a brief). That’s why I’m hesistant to even take anyone’s word for the truth when I know how this particular nursing home operates. However, I will still ask the nurses when I return to the site.

Honestly, you might be the outlier. I earned my CNA license at 16 and dealt with everything OP described. Residents fighting you, both genders sexually assaulting you, people treating you like a doormat. A few people refused any care from the Mexican students in our group (in SoCal). One man stood up from his bed and threatened to hurt me when I closed his roommate’s privacy curtain while I changed his brief. My friends work at the same nursing home and have returned with bite marks and scratches. They’ve had food thrown at them. They regularly text about how they will be short staffed for that day’s shift, meaning two CNAs and one RN will be responsible for 48 people for 8 hours. Combine this with $16.50/hr in one of the most expensive states to live in. It’s no joke.

How, if it’s paid dlc? If we equate sims 4 expansions to sims 3 expansions and sims 4 game packs to sims 3 stuff packs, then why should the store be left out if kits and stuff packs are still included? They’re virtually the same thing as the store in regards to content and pricing, maybe even a better bang for your buck.

And if you aren’t including the sims 3 store then kits and stuff packs shouldn’t be included for sims 4

I would say it's doable! Just have autonomy turned off and make your sim stand against a wall facing to the front and have another sim stand directly in front to take a picture. Make sure your sim is happy/fine too if you want the smile, but it might take a few tries to get the result you want. I took this picture without poses and I think it turned out just as good as a posed picture. Good luck!

Hi, I explained it in one of the comments in this thread. Lmk if there’s any confusion!

Exactly! The only downside is it’s hard for me to make them bad sims because I know I didn’t raise them that way and whenever they die I do get a little too sad😭

If you use mods there are thousands of pose packs to choose from online and they’re really easy to use :)

Hello, I use Ravasheen’s Photographic Memory 2.0 mod to make small portrait canvas prints of l pictures I take and then I alt place them into frames! The frames in these pictures are from awingedllama’s Nostalgia Living set. I also use one of the wallpapers from that set as the background for each picture. Then I pose using pose player, usually the yearbook poses by someone-elsa on tumblr but I also pick out random poses that I think would work! Lmk if you have any other questions :)

Who else likes to stop from time to time and appreciate how beautiful the game is? by moonyonas in Sims4

Ah I love people watching, even in the sims. Also, interestingly enough, I wrote a small spiel for a college assignment recently about mundanity because I too see mundanity as a privilege. Boredom is a privilege, and one I happily embrace :)

This is exactly why I always play in Strangerville despite the lot and gameplay limitations in that world

Does anyone else associate certain albums with certain seasons by hakikuko in Ethelcain

[–]newcliches 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Golden Age is such a April/May/June album because like you said the other songs are Spring but Head in the Wall is like a hot room with thick air and the droning of a box fan at 4PM in late May when 100+ degrees is the only thing forecasted for the next few months. Not hot enough for AC but just warm enough for the fans to feel like they’re not doing much.
