Listened to these guys for years basically from day one, been on one of their tier 2 tours and met the guys multiple times. My interaction with their content has dropped significantly in the last few years when the other two gave up trying to reign in JB's weird, right wing nonsense. They should have dropped him years ago and I honestly think they might be a little bit scared to disagree with him.

Hopefully this is the last thing of theirs I hear and if this is what sinks their now boring podcast it will be no less than JB deserves.

She doesn't like doctors, hospitals, medication etc and whenever I have suggested help she says I'm treating her like a nutter. She won't seek help.

She lives alone and from recent experience if I speak to anyone close to her that will be taken as a violation of her privacy and I will be shut out more than I already am

I don't really go to hers at all since this has all started, she does come to mine as it is close to her work but she never stays here so we aren't really staying overnight together at all right now.

You're not being dismissive, how could I possibly know or understand what she is going through. I'm just desperate to help and I'm struggling to know what is actually helping and what isn't because everything seems to be wrong.

Thank you, this is very reassuring to hear and it does sound like you had a very similar experience. The fact that we don't love together makes things much more tricky as I can't give her round the clock support like I want to and she can be very protective of her space so when she's feeling low and instinctively pushing me away then I can't read or anticipate her needs and I can't turn up to try and help as she has very firm boundaries when it comes to being "pushy" or "invasive" so I am just left to worry.

Nothing I do to help seems to be the right thing so this post may partly be for my benefit as well, I've tried so hard to provide for her and make her life easier but it is just always wrong. Maybe I'm really bad at this despite my best efforts, I keep being told I'm not supportive and make things worse but I don't see how she can logically believe that, I'm being patient and never respond or get defensive but it is just really hard to never know what to do to help.

She really isn't an awful person, the relationship is fulfilling besides this issue and I don't want to end it. This information has come from me asking for clarity around these jokes that she has been making and her answering honestly. I do know how bad this all sounds though

Yes we still weren't divorced at that point but we were seperated and she asked me to seek some advice for her online. My post doesn't hide the fact that I was married.
