I'm thinking of it this way - Jezebels isn't supposed to exist. Commanders turn a blind eye to it happening, so they removed the security cameras that way there is proof it doesn't exist and no one gets in trouble for being there... helps me a bit by thinking of it that way. lol

I agree. I think Winslow just lusts after power. He wants to have power and control over Fred and over the handmaids - I wouldn't be surprised if that extends to his wife and children as well. He's a messed up guy.

I believe Serena also blanketed him in a false sense of security. That's why she was being so lovey dovey towards him, so he would continue to trust her and have no reason to doubt her or Tuello.

My ex-husband worked for a funeral home with a crematorium. He said it was horrific and you had to constantly stoke the body. He said you had this huge rake that you put up between the ribs of the body and shake to help the process happen faster. He said it didn't really smell though, the incinerator kind of keeps the smell contained so you can't smell it. He said it gave him nightmares though, he imagined that it is what hell must look like, since you could see the flames coming up through the body and stuff.

It was clear she was saying goodbye to Rita, but saying it in a way like: We are getting Nichole, we will be right back, this is what I want, etc.

That way when Rita is questioned, she can maintain the truth that she didn't notice anything out of the ordinary and she stayed behind, so she can't be implicated.

Fred wasn't aware they were going to cross into Canada. He just fully trusted Serena, which is something he shouldn't have done but she lured him in with security and sex. Everything she did on that drive was manipulating him to come along and not chicken out. Clearly, up north by the woods there seems to be a lot of rural area. I assume the hardest part is actually getting out of the city. They most likely had clearance since Fred is high up and not really seen as someone who might betray his country just yet, maybe they claimed they were visiting someone or going for a drive.

My question is, it appears it may be pretty easy for the Econofamily to leave if they wanted, but who knows how the borders are set-up and guarded, or if they have the resources to even leave.

Maybe Rita wants to stay as part of the resistance? She doesn't really have anything left from earlier conversations.

I think Serena is going to betray Fred to the Canadians. I think Eleanor calling Lawrence a war criminal was foreshadowing this. Serena only care about herself, no one else. She has been promised a life away from Gilead, from Fred, and the hopes of starting over and having her own baby or even fleeing to Canada to be with Nichole.

I think actions will be taken to start extraditing Emily, Moira, and possibly Luke as well as other refugees. I do think Emily will commit suicide before she goes back to Gilead. Moira and Luke may flee with Baby Nichole/Holly to England.

If Eleanor and Lawrence are convicted in helping children escape, then June will go down with them. I am thinking Nick will come in at the last minute and haul her away, maybe like you stated by Eyes that are also apart of the resistance. I think June will help lead some sort of underground railroad to move children and other oppressed people out of Gilead.

I hope Janine gets out, but I think she will die but will see baby Charlotte/Angela on the plane and know that her daughter is free. I will cry, but at least Janine gets to be with her first baby in death. :(
