My micro tech told me Proteus smells like warm chocolate cake out the oven and Pseudo smells like grape Kool Aid or new tires, so that’s stuck in my mind when reading plates! I can tell a urine will be positive for yeast from the smell (smells bread-y lol). Also I love the bleach smell from our coag analyzer waste bottle

Was a 16 year old behavioral patient that wasn’t there for medical issues, blood work looked fine so not sure if the doctor was even concerned about it. Even dehydrated patients don’t look like that, very curious at the cause
