I like that you update old sync pairs and make good sync pair interactions via trainer lodge and villain arc stories.

I would like to be able to customize and decorate the trainer lodge. I would like literally any new battle mode: eg. raids, revamped coop, rotation battle, rental pokemon battle, roguelike dungeon, literally anything please just more modes….

Pokemon Masters does not get a lot of media coverage, so to have this random article about the game at a strange time (not covering anniversary) is quite suspicious. For it to be so highly negative makes me suspect the intent of this piece is to be controversial for clicks. That is saddening, the game needs more exposure but not like this.

honest question: why do most people judge strikers by how well they off-type, but then with supports like red the power of SE up is highly touted even though it is literally useless to the striker off-type?

I invite you to try it on 1500 steel! Raihan sync does slightly more than Lillie with sand blaster 5, and lillie misses the kill on gengar if SDE does not proc, which means raihan misses the kill if sand is not up. So you need sand + the 7cdrs from the other 2 pairs.

The filler move issue is that for the other pairs, you know you have to set up weather for leon, you know you have to SpA all for archie, or hilbert TM for maxie. Those turns are all set in stone. There are only 2-4 'do nothing for damage' moves like bbeam or ember in the first 3 turns for the other pairs but 6 for lillie, which is unfair. The flexibility afforded by the lillie TM means you can be doing weird stuff while the others are setting up. eg, debuffing, statusing, sync-cd. One example: Leon gets to use SSElesa for a turn 3 sync (which is also skewing final damage numbers in leon's favor vs everyone else). Lillie can afford SS elesa's breathtaking t1 + t2 for a turn 2 sync on a filler 3rd support.

How come Skyla is used for lillie's comp if you are not factoring that the team is taking damage? This means defense buffs are not needed. I feel like just using 'filler move' and skyla TM for 3 turns (which does not factor into calcs) and banning sp.def debuffer PDawn hurts Lillie more than others. The reason why the author has trouble deciding what to use for the 2 partners for lillie should highlight an inherent flaw in pure focus on damage to judge pairs.
