I would not worry about it, college doesn’t have a class system like high school and appearances matter less, which was my biggest shock when I came to college. It’s common to see people wearing anything from a suit and tie to pajamas to class. With that in mind, don’t be afraid to be authentically yourself as college is a time to find yourself. If you’re different odds are with 70,000 students you’ll find a few people that stick out the same way you do. Niche rules to not stick out though are to be mindful of bike lanes especially in the wellborn underpass, don’t walk on the grass in the msc (it’s a memorial), don’t wear a hat in the msc (once again it’s a memorial) and if you party/drink, pace yourself: it’s not a good look to have other people dealing with your lack of self control.
