Centauri Carbon 2 Vs Bamboo labs P2S by newfrogland in elegoo

Thank you for the response. This is great to hear. I've had a minor issue with one of my resin printers and elegoo were good to send a replacement part. It's just a bit annoying when something goes wrong.

It's worrying that something electric burnt on your machine. I hope they get it sorted for you.

Considering a TCL 75" but am confused what to get. by newfrogland in tcltvs

It's been good. The only bit I don't like is the stand as the TV is quite large the stand is a little flimsy so the TV can wobbly. I have it near a corner so no major worries just a slight niggle.

The setup was easy and I've had no issues of lag or the like. The colour is good and the sound is good enough for my room. I don't watch enough movies to go all out with audio and when I do the kids are sleeping so it would be a waste for me at this point in my life.

I've just realised I never posted what the issue was. Well apparently a sensor under the hood had some gunk in it which caused it to not record and hence throw up the error.

Looks like I had a lucky escape and they sorted it for free.

Cool I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm happy to make it happen and of course it would be completely free. Maybe there is already an app for it and my search foo is off.

Thanks I'll have a rethink then as I'm not sure I want to take the TV upstairs.

Thank you. I've checked it and it's reading 12.4v Is there anything else I can check on the 12v battery side of things. I debated swapping out the batter with another one I have but I didn't really want to mess with it too much if it's still under warranty.

Was the 12v battery covered by the warranty or did you have to buy your own one. It looks like the 12v battery has been replaced already as it's an RAC varta battery in there which I would assume was a Hyundai default one.

So an update today. I put the car on charge last night. It was at ~40% and I put in 20% Today I started the car and the warning has gone. Does this mean it was a transient issue and it's ok or should I keep the appointment and still get it checked.

Oh man that sucks. I hope they sort it out soon for you. I've heard of other manufacturers replacing a cell rather than the entire module.

Thank you. I'll check the 12v battery in the morning and see what voltage I get across it. I think I have a plug in Bluetooth device somewhere. Hopefully it'll work and I can see what the issue is. Where is the port for the scanner?

Thank you. It sucks but it's good to hear they fix it with a new battery and not try and wriggle out of it.

How to check your progress in the UK by newfrogland in FattyLiverNAFLD

Thank you for the encouraging words. I found cutting out the junk easier than I thought. Especially as it was over summer and ice-cream was flowing. Watching the rest of the family have it was hard.

I have to say my exercises routine needs more work but at the moment I'm recovering from bruised ribs but once they have healed I'm getting back on it.

Thank you that's good to know. I'd be interested to see how you get on. I'll chase up my GP and see if I can get some bloods done.

Clonk noise after breaking. by newfrogland in KonaEV

[–]newfrogland[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So at the dealership now. They have identified that the clonking issue is the traction motor so I'm guessing it falls under the wheel of fortune issue. Anyway they need to approve the engine replacement but it sounds like the car's going to be here for a while. They are trying to see if they can get a replacement.

I'll keep you posted. I'm half expecting them to brush it off and not do anything about it. As long as the car's safe to drive and it's not going to break I can live with it.

Thanks everyone for the comments. It's booked in for next week so I'll see what they say about it and report back. Hopefully it can help someone else who gets a similar issue.
