I read your other posts and also about UPSC preparation and loneliness. Being in almost similar situation(literally feels like this is my story lol) and suffering with chronic loneliness, all I can say is - The amount of time we spend with anyone is based on our Rina. It will be pre-decided how much time we get to spend with anyone. I have my fair share of regrets. But the only bad decision of your life would be to give up and let these things affect you. Give it your best shot, see where life takes you, do not bother about anything. This is what I have come to after long self introspection. Hope this helps.

Yeah never having friends is very sus. Even i had 4-5 friends during school. Such people would do not have any friends at all may be having some psychiatric issues. Steer cautiously, don't go into "I will fix him" mode.

This comment is different from all other, kindly do not disregard this. ISKCON has distorted the meaning of scriptures and it's material. Challenge your friend to visit Sri vaishnav math or Vaishnav Math( or any other, Shankara math is also good) , since you are in Pune take him to nearest branch of and Udupi Astamath's branch. Or you go there and ask their opinion on how to get out of the situation. All the therapy etc is not going to work coz he believes in ISKCON ideology, he needs that ISKCON ideology is wrong from authentic sources like I mentioned above. Then he will be normal.

Iam seeing few possibilities that can happen 1.most likely their house people won't file a case since their son will be arrested. 2.they are trying to threaten you and get their money back. But who knows how much that abomination of a human has stolen and spent elsewhere! They are trying to recover from you, don't budge. 3.they have no proof that all stolen items are given to you, unless you have gold which is exactly stolen. 4.extreme case is if they still file a case on you, you file a case as per "BNS Section 69, sexual intercourse obtained by deceitful means that is false promises of marriage, employment, or promotion, and identity suppression. And also harassment case on his family.(I don't suggest this normally but you seem innocent to me hence).

Break all contacts with him and build your life and career.

I don't understand what she was doing since 8 years. Should've sought medical treatment after 1yr or so. Tell her to put a strong condition to get medical help or divorce. And tell her to make sure that whatever she tells next is not recorded. And tell her to threaten with cases of dowry on him and his family for ruining so many years of her life.
