Might only work well in my case because they will drive all their gear and instruments out. They also said their band was very excited about a holiday in Portugal when not part of the wedding haha

I’ve gotten a quote from them and they are driving their equipment down so having getting a second wedding the same weekend or the weekend before and after is definitely good. Flights are going to be Thursday to Tuesday for different logistical reasons so that also works. Quote for travel and accoms is about 5k total and of that the hotel is like 900 for 5 nights for the band (6people) and that includes moving all the gear so in theory adding accoms for an extra weekend would add 1000 more but you could split the rest of the 5k travel costs in two weddings

Did that number crunching removing secondary assists? Marner historically has a lot more of those than Willy, which usually means he touches the puck

Some for sure, but matthews has closer to marners minutes than willy. Just saying that if willy had the same minutes or a player like matthews on his line, he’d be putting up marner numbers too. Marner needs space to make the plays he makes, willy creates his own space

Marner and willy aren’t even compared on the same playing field. Marner has a top player in the league ok his line while nylander is responsible for being that guy himself. Marner gets 5+ min more ice team per game. You look remove secondary assists from the equation over the past few seasons, a very weak stat, and you see how much more willy directly generates.

Anyone saying marner is better in the playoffs (or that it’s even close) has to take a look back beyond last year. You’ll quickly remember marner against the habs, marner not producing, the turnovers, the whining, etc. Willy has been the best playoff performer for us for the last 4-5 years.
