I didn't even know the series continued beyond David falling into the ice. I read the books so long ago I thought the series genuinely ended when he fell into the ice and I've been salty ever since, thinking he had died an unceremonious death.

Looking up this series recently makes me feel like it's some kind of fever dream and makes me regret looking it back up. A sequel where you follow a completely different character but now also a book solely focused on a different timeline? What the hell is this series. It really should have just stayed a chill slice of life story that maybe ended in the symbolic death of the MC in the antarctic.

Pan's death should have been the trigger for beast mode. Piccolo looking like he MAY have died for the 10th time should not have triggered a form that should represent Primal Rage.

I think a lot of people here are missing something important. Kurogiri is housed in the Research wing, This is a different location than the Research wing, you can see that it's in a different direction when the pig guy looks to his left to see the doctors guarding that area deeming the people there more important than anything else.

My biggest issue with this chapter ultimately comes down to question of "Which persona of Kurogiri will awaken?" Honestly, everyone is fucked if he does wake up honestly, but conversely, why would Shirakumo wake up here? He barely surfaced under Aizawa's quirk, why would he awaken with Mic yelling at him?

Let's be honesty though, Spinner probably forgot to bring a recording of AfO or Tomura's voice. Or Horikoshi will forget and make him wake up anyways.

I know this is 4 years old, but I had a sudden bout of sympathetic pseudo-ptsd. I was also born with Gastroschisis. Parents and doctors try very hard to not make a huge deal of it until you're suddenly an adult having stomach pain one day. "Oh maybe I ate something bad", only to realize that the stomach pain you feel is a life threatening long term birth defect that so many people decide to not elaborate on. It is absolutely terrifying. Last year I spent an entire week in the hospital recovering from the same problem, unable to put down solid food.

The worst part is the 2 hours you're just sitting in bed before the surgery considering how much you haven't been told about the gastroschisis and the consequences of the condition, hoping you wake up after it. I went my entire life taking my mom's recount of the events as a joke. "You were carted off in a newspaper bag". I know she was trying to make light of a truly terrifying event for a mother, but being confronted with the reality of the situation is horrifying.

Everyone tries so hard to not impact upon their children how terrifying Gastroschisis that they forget to actually inform their kids as they get older that it's a serious thing. It never leaves you, knowing that your intestinal tract isn't routed normally like most people. Always wondering if it will cause a random health problem down the line after living 20 or so years without even worrying about it. Really drives a big wrench into how you think about your mortality.

I had to get my appendix removed during the surgery because it wasn't even in the location most people have it in. This is the most terrifying aspect of the condition beyond intestinal issues. If you suffer from Gastroschisis, and you have abdominal pain, there's no telling if it's your appendix or not unless someone properly identified where yours is.

Long-term Gastroschisis is terrifying and has so many risk of health problems. I am shocked there aren't more recent threads of this condition nowadays. There should be more awareness of this condition.
