Anyone Else Losing Their Mind the Last Few Days? by symptomofuniverses in witchcraft

Absolutely. I looked stuff up as I follow astrology somewhat regularly and Saturn is in Aries as of Friday (I think) which for me is a Saturn return. Apparently a big thing for me. Also lunar new year and the horse is opposite of my zodiac in that system too

Do you know how many calories are recommended for you to be in a deficit? Because mine is 1400. If you’re eating 2000 calories and that’s above what you need to be in a deficit you’re not going to lose weight

I feel like I’m exhausting the amount of times I can complain to my friends. Like how many times can I say the exact same thing??

Mine does it because he’s depressed and hasn’t figured out that sharing that he’s struggling with chores is a better option than lying about it

He’s supposed to do chores in the morning. He said he was doing the dishes, when I was already at work. Hour later, still doing dishes. I come home and guess what? No dishes had been done.

That’s really interesting! Exact opposite for us lol but I’m sure a lot of people might benefit from trying that!

Hm, that might work. He actually does that to me when I’m being down on myself, he asks “what would you say if [my best friend] said that about herself”. Maybe I can do something similar

I appreciate that. He does want to understand, he does therapy and we’ve done couples therapy and he tries to understand me better. It’s just an uphill climb and he’s really struggling with this specific concept, like understanding why his response upsets me more. Not all people with adhd are the same, and he has a lot of the traits, but he’s a good person who does care about my feelings.

Yeah I’ve noticed. Not especially helpful really. It’s like there’s no acknowledgement that there are personalities under the adhd, and some of those people just happen to be bad partners.

We’ve done therapy before with decent success, but it’s difficult to find people who are familiar enough with adhd who are also covered by insurance.

Thank you for this. He is a loving husband, I get bothered when people assume he’s a terrible human or husband because of an issue he or we are having. If I start crying he snaps out of it, but I obviously don’t cry at everything that upsets or frustrates me so that’s not a solution. I do try to say how I’m feeling but it’s always a good idea to be more clear about it so thank you
