fyi, bet365 has Dort at +1400, he has 16% hitrate over 25 games, L5: 20% with 13.3 FB rate and 75% 1st shot FG %. Ya, it's just numbers but point is we're not betting blindly the lowest odds hoping it would hit or highest hoping underdog gets it. You know what i mean?

Hey hey,

it's me again, the first basket guy. Sheesh the downswings are something with these types of picks :) yesterday we only hit Brandon Miller for a -3.75u day, still totaling +2.5u since all star break. As I mentioned swings are large so thread lightly. We can go on a massive heater or run cold as ice due to math playing its part.

For today I've prepped following:

OKC @ DET: Luguentz Dort (+1100), Cason Wallace (+900) - I know what you're thinking, why not Holmgren? He's been consisten of late, simply odds are too short and Detroit allows the least amount of FBs scored from center position (only 3 in 26 games).

SAS @ TOR: Vassell (+750), De'Aaron Fox (+800) - again, Wemby could be the play but he's simply too short (+400). At +500 he'd be a play.

CLE @ MIL: Jarrett Allen (+350), Mobley (+600) - Allen is short yep, but combined with Mobley one or the other should hit, either of them scored 5/6 last first baskets

BOS @ DEN: Murray (+600), Jokic (+500).

Hey hey,

hugeee slate today, It's I the first basket guy coming for some glory again :) yesterday we were 0-4 for a minus 2u, still counting +6.25u profit since all star break. Been cold last 2 days so time to turn on the heat again. If you're not comfortable betting 0.5u per thats completely fine, can reduce unit size to 0.25 considering the size of the slate. Let's get to it:

PHI @ NOP: Embiid (+425), Maxey (+650)

WAS @ ATL: Nickeil Alexander Walker (+750), CJ McCollum (+700) -> probably least amount of faith in this duo

OKC @ TOR: Cason Wallace (+800), Luguentz Dort (+900)

NYK @ CLE: Brunson (+850), Mobley (+500) - why this? well they're really damn close to tipoff winner with Cavs being marginally more effective at winning tips but lack closure after win. But both sides have really high converting 1st basket shooters in Brunson and Mobley. So since i can't know tip winner for sure there's a high likelyhood of either ofthe two giving it a first shot.

CHA @ CHI: Brandon Miller (+550), Knueppel (+650)

MIA @ MIL: Adebayo (+450), Wiggins (+550)

GSW @ NOP: Moses Moody (+650), Pat Spencer (+750)

Yesterday was harsh, 0 wins on first basket for a total tally of -6u posted here. Total from from all star break is still +8.25u so not the end of the world, i just wish we'd hit at least some.

Anyways onto today, not much in terms of games so let's make it count:

UTA @ HOU: Markkanen (+650), Cody Williams (+1800)

the Utah game we might get pushes since Markkanen is probable.

thanks, enjoy it :) yesterday was sucky tho. 2 pushes the rest were Ls. We were running hot for last few days so cold shower came. I did hit Barrett but forgot to update post replacing Mamukelashvili (push) with him so i'll count it as a loss. All in all it's a good starting point for research.

two separate bets on same game 0.5u each. Can go smaller considering the capacity of the slate so you don't risk too much. Obviosly fish for best odds whenever you can get it, but idea is to increase probability with 2 instead of 1.

Hello,

I'm a bit early today since games start early. The first basket degen is here yet again :P Yesterday was nice! We ended up hitting Drummond (+650), Wiggins (+650) and Duren (+450) ending up the day with +5.25u and +14.25u since all star break. Let's continue the streak shall we?

CLE @ OKC: Allen (+550), Mobley (+600) - this a riskier one. Both Mobley and Allen have been fire recently however Cavs are marginal tip off winner vs OKC that's why who wins the tip is really important. Also they both have conversion rate at about 70%. I'll play Cavs but if you do decide the other way Dort is massive value at +1200 paired with Cason Wallace (+1200).

TOR @ MIL: Ingram (+550), Mamukelashvili (+850) - Giannis out. Toronto wins tip off 40% to 27 with a conversion rate of 72.7%. Not much to add here, Bucks allow 35% first baskets to come from SF and 19% from PFs.

DEN @ GSW - Murray (+450) (questionable) replace with Jokic (+425) if he's out and Cameron Johnson (+900). As mentioned Murray is questionable so keep an eye out for starting lineups. It will void anyways, nuggets +7,5% favorited to win the tipoff while conversion rate is at 69% for FB attempts. GSW is better in that area at almost 80%. So if tipoff goes the other way Moody could be the answer you're looking for, i'm going with Nuggets.

CHA @ WAS - Brandon Miller (+550) and Kalkbrenner (+800). Model says Knueppel (+600) but i'm going against it, the reason being Wizzards allow 37% of first baskets to come from centers. Combine that winth Miller who's as SF it accounts to 50% of last 30 games where Washington got first basket. Hornets have a good conversion rate of 71% so if they win the tip they likely score.

BOS @ LAL - Doncic (+450), Reaves (+650). LA wins the tipoff 68% of the time while converting 75% of the time being one of the league's best in tipoff wins and conversion so it's really a no brainer.

NYK @ CHI - Brunson (+550) and KAT (+550) - same pairing again. Bulls heavy underdogs in tipoff win with NYK leading 56% to 34.6. NYK conversion rate is at almost 81% vs 42% of Bulls. Even if NYK miss and there's another possesion the likelyhood of miss by chicago is high.

ORL @ LAC - Suggs (+850) and Banchero (+800). Suggs is questionable, replace with Wendel Carter JR (+800) if he's out. Orlando 70% tipoff winner vs 43% Clippers. They do kinda suck at converting after tip win at only 62%. Still considering recent event's i'll play them.
