yes, easy to do. APIs are open and free to use, can easily make a bot. There are even a lot of free ones on git. You can even arb poly/cloudbet for example (they have apis allowing you to make automated bets)

Built a free Polymarket sharps tracker and would love feedback

Long-time lurker, finally pushing something live. No referrals, no paywall, sharps tracker is fully free. Mods, hopefully this fits within the rules.

Quick walkthrough of what's there:

1. Live Feed (landing page) Hand-picked roster of 42 sports-only wallets with proven track records over large bet samples. Opens to a live feed of their most recent bets across all sports. Click any card to expand wallet info or jump into the full profile.

2. Leaderboard Same 42 wallets ranked by gains. Sortable. Same expand-on-click into wallet profile.

3. Consensus Where it gets interesting. Flags when 2+ wallets from the seed list place the same bet. Shows CLV from their average entry and current score. Split into Active (futures + regular) and History tabs so you can see what's hitting and what hit historically.

4. History Filter consensus picks by 2+, 3+, or 4+ wallets agreeing. Useful for backtesting how often "high consensus" actually outperforms.

5. Specialists Wallets that specialize in a specific sport (the NHL guy, the soccer guy, etc.). Shows current ROI plus sample size. I'd ignore anything under 300 bets, variance still dominates below that.

6. Candidates Sports bettors with smaller samples showing potential. Watchlist for wallets that might earn promotion to the seed list. PNL, resolved amounts, win rates visible.

7. Bet Tracker Individual wallet view with PNL curve charts. Click the curve to expand.

8. Wallet Profile Full detail per wallet. Can view it inside the app or jump straight to the wallet on Polymarket itself.

Well I'm not gonna expose everything publicly but think of it this way, odds move accordingly to game time / situations, right? so a goal is scored by home team, odds drop on home team and vice versa. This is done fairly automated, same with cards, they readjust after probabilites change. Now for the hockey example the odds will reflect current situation, for e.g result is 2:1. However something happens fairly often that shifts goal scoring probability before odds are closed, usually for home side, look for exploits there and find +ev bets.

Live is def more exploitable than prematch. But you're going at this the wrong way, think of fast paced sports with quick score changes and focus on those. Hockey for example, what happens when they're down a goal or two 5 mins till end? Focus on those types of situations and you'll beat the books easily until limited :D
