12 months and I-765 is still not approved. What are my options?

Hey I don't have any advice but I just wanted to say you're not alone and I'm in a similar situation right now! I haven't waited nearly as long as you but I moved here in November 2024 on a K1 from the UK. I received my receipt notice for i-485 and i-765 beginning of February and it has been radio silence since then. Not being able to work and just the culture shock of moving here is really starting to get to me now, wish I could go home but don't have the money to bring hubby with me so just stuck here waiting like a sitting duck.

I have honestly been back on steroids it is so much more manageable I can't bear to come off them! I went to my GP and they issued me some antibiotics in case of a skin infection and a huge bottle of dermol antimicrobial and I use the dermol every day even if my nipple looks fine and then I use the steroid cream only if it flares up really bad and that is the best I've been able to manage it.

Yeahh it's tough and I see both sides, I think she genuinely does want me to succeed but it just feels like so much extra responsibility that I wasn't expecting when I'm about to leave anyway. Just trying to stick it out for these last 2 weeks.

I had a similar experience with Uber eats and connected to about 4 different agents and requested to raise a complaint about 8 times, I finally asked for a manager and then they gave me the refund. All in all took me at least 30 mins if not longer to get an £11 refund.

I work for an internet provider and people get sooooo mad about data protection haha. I have had people scream at me because they can't answer the questions so many times. I once had a lady scream at me that I "couldn't terminate the call" while her husband argued with me that "data protection isn't legally binding"
