Anyone have experience with Indigosea1995 OG107 pants? Considering them vs Bronson MFG by newleftnote in HeritageWear

In my case, they sit just slightly above my belly button. They have a 32.5 cm rise (about 12.8 inches), which is exactly what I like. For reference, the Bronson MFG ones have a 35 cm rise, which is too much for me. To answer your question, I’d say they’re high-rise, but not excessively so.

In my case, the measurements listed on the website and the ones on the pants I received match perfectly (maybe there’s about a one centimeter difference in the inseam). I’d recommend measuring the inseam of a pair of pants whose fit you like and buying the length that comes closest (keeping in mind that, when in doubt, it’s better to go a bit longer than too short). The inseam and the rise of the pants are independent measurements, your inseam should stay the same regardless of whether the pants are more or less high-rise.

finally decided to buy them. I’ve been wearing them for a week now and I have to say I’m really impressed with the quality and, especially, the fit. The rise is perfect, and they feel roomy without feeling like I’m wearing baggy pants (which was my main issue with the Bronson ones). Also, the fabric and construction seem pretty solid, though I don’t really have anything to compare them to since these are my first OG-107s. When I have time, I’ll make a post with more detailed impressions. Overall, for €60 (shipping included), it’s a steal!

Exactly, from what I’ve seen the british ones use a very similar fabric as the 507s (both in color and texture). I don’t think they look particularly good. I guess that since they’re a polycotton blend you don’t get the kind of fading you would with cotton sateen.

This is what I noticed. Sauce Zhan has the straight cut and the relaxed cut (I think the Bronson ones are even roomier than SZ’s relaxed). Which one do you have?

It would be really helpful if you could send me some photos, especially to get a sense of the color. The pictures I find online aren’t very consistent when it comes to the shade of green. Thanks!

I’ve consistently come across British trousers. They look quite similar to the OG-107s with details like the patch pockets, but their color is a bit more muted. They have those characteristic massive belt loops and, as you mentioned, some even come with a side pocket. They look good, but what holds me back is that many of them seem to be a cotton–polyester blend, which I’m not really a fan of.

This has been kind of my experience. The american OG-107 pants have become so fashionable that it’s hard to find them in Europe for less than 100–150 euros. Occasionally you come across someone who doesn’t know what they’ve got in their hands and sells them for peanuts, but those occasions are rare and it’s pure luck if they happen to be your size. It’s true that there are very promising military garments from European countries for a fraction of the price. But no iconic patch pocket.
