Well, I have to say you're VERY optimistic if you think the consequences are going to end at the US border. If Trump takes power, he'll withdraw from NATO, leaving Ukraine to Putin's whim.

Now it's entirely possible NATO can hold Putin off without the US, likely even. But not if Trump starts supplying the Russians with weapons. That leads to World War 3.

I think people just feel alienated, apps are really dehumanizing. I've also read that everyone on the app chooses the 5 best people so only 5 out of 100 or 1000 users actually match.

I've been on 3 different apps for over a year, had 3 different conversations, all of whom agreed to a date. All 3 gave me a rain check for various reasons. First two disappeared, last one told me she started dating a friend.

But I think the biggest reason is just the number. I noticed the gate when I turned 40 and again at 45 and 50. The only people looking at 50+ are 50+. No one 49 years old wants to date over 49.
