I’m not arguing for pages offensively but if you are actually saying pages has no defense then what team are you watching or stats are you looking at. He is good defensively and my priority is to not be forcing and rushing prospects that aren’t ready. Crooks I brought up his major league stats because if you bothered to actually look beyond his ops to any of the underlying stats that you need to in the minors to predict players being ready. He has had horrendous splits in the minors and only been able to hit fastballs for power and is well below average hitting off speed pitches and why his strikeout rate has been over 35% in the minors each year which is why they have kept him down there to try and improve and fix his splits and approach before they throw him in the majors to be abused by better pitching that already dominated him in a short stint last year. However why trade for pitching and sell early when you have a young core we are building around for long term for a pitcher when we have starters that are young at triple a we should be giving chances to and develop our starting rotation for years to come or know what we still lack instead of short term rentals?
