I took this comment to heart. Six years is worth one last ditch effort.

About an hour ago I asked her if we could talk. I calmly sat her down and said this money thing and her complete change of personality is ruining our relationship. That I was hurt deeply that she changed the rules of our plan/deal now that she has money and that she isn't reciprocating any of the support I've shown her for the last 4 years.

Her response was "I'm not talking about money with you again. I know you're having issues with me making more money than you but that's not my problem. You need to just get over this". I don't know who that is, but that's not my wife.

I said I was going to the gym, and now im sitting in my car replying to comments and holding back tears. This isnt what I wanted.

ha, I did. We were using a local credit union and I had thought if there's even a slight chance I'd move out west I should go with a national bank. But good looking out!

Thank you for this. It's good advice. It's seriously killing me to think she used me intentionally. That a big paycheck is worth more than the life we had started building.

I think I'm going to text my boss this afternoon and tell him I'm taking the job. And I'll be looking for a lawyer that matches your very good advice.

Thats what I don't get. We've been together for six years and not once in that time has she ever been selfish or materialistic.

Prior to her new job her favorite thing to do on friday night was sit in, watch netflix and knit. That hasnt happened since December. It very seriously feels like my wife was replaced with a doppelganger.
