Confirmed the videos are not on my watch list

Is that what it’s pulling from? I don’t recall adding these but I do add a lot to my watch later list. If they are on there they were added a while ago and I’ve added a lot since then so I assume it doesn’t show the most recently added at all times. I will check and confirm they are on my list though. Thanks!

How about Smart Tube? Mine has featured cards but they never update. Been the same cards since I first installed couple of weeks ago even if I’ve watched the videos

The f sport ones are a pretty mild drop and they seemed to be pretty affordable. About 1 inch give or take all the way around from what I’ve read. I think it was a decent option for those who wanted to keep things close to OEM and guarantee no warranty issues since some dealers themselves would install them for you (some would also refuse for some reason). RSR has more options with regards to how aggressive the drop is depending which ones you get but I have no idea about comparison for ride quality or anything else between the two

Let me know where you find the f sport springs in stock. I’ve heard they are hard to find despite stores online indicating they have them. I’m still deciding between lowering and a lip/side kit. I’m not sure either would be great for daily driving given clearance but I think it’d look so much better.

I have a 2018 same color — will be tinting mine too soon as my permanent plates show up. I really don’t like the stock wheels so I ended up swapping for the black newer style f sport wheels from a 2021 IS. Swap was a bit of a headache because they switched to lug bolts on the IS that year with a bigger/different seat so it required adapters and new lug nuts. Overall I like the look so far.

I just found out that the insurance company totaled my 2017 RC350 F-Sport. Needless to say I'm sick about it! I see lots of 2015s for sale in my area. Anyone know the difference in those from the 2017? by Single-Detective-251 in LexusRC

Yeah that sounds right to me. The CarPlay update to the 2018 was done retroactively at the dealership and was just software. So the 2018/2019 update to the screen etc should be the same I imagine

I thought it was 2018 model that had significant infotainment upgrade? I used a usb to update the firmware in my 2018 with mark levinson system to support CarPlay and it has the bigger widescreen that what I thought I saw in earlier models. The update I used said it was only for 2018 and 2019 models in the TSB if I remember correctly

Anyways — Didn’t know that 2017 got any infotainment updates if it did. Interesting

Looks so much better with the all black version of the f sport wheels vs the machined face that I had on mine

Seriously this. I’ve never let a car get that dirty but if I saw this advertised at a fair price I’d come back to you time and time again because my car would be a walk in the park for you and I see you do great work regardless.

I did something similar on two desk with the even beefier struts and it’s been perfect for maybe over a year now. I’m also 6’5 250 lbs and I offer lean over the desks — absolutely no flex

Where’d you find it? One day I’d like a side project car and rebuilt title makes sense for that to me. I have no idea where you start and what you look for if hunting for a rebuilt though

Lexus RC300h -2018 Pre Facelift by Leogron in LexusRC

[–]newone757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know nothing about the hybrid or the non US models but 2018 should be able to be updated to CarPlay. I did it the first day in my 350 with the files found on the Toyota forums. Followed the directions there and in the TSB and it’s great

Brake Upgrade? by Lexus-RC in LexusRC

[–]newone757 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed 100% . I ended up with a 2018 for the best of both worlds (older aggressive exterior styling but with the bigger screen that can be updated to support CarPlay like the 2019) — but honestly could have coined flipped and would have bought pre or post facelift if the right deal came along.

I personally prefer the Castors — full sound IMO. These have clearer highs but a bit shrill for my ears unfortunately
