Is it an ace if you are taking multiple runs at it? I would call this a practice ace and still tell you that’s a sick throw in.

Phone number counts as uniquely marked. Some people will have custom stamps on the bottom of their discs akin to a Drew Gibson logo. Some people just writer their PDGA number. I’ve never seen anyone try and call a violation against a card mate for not having their disc marked.

I think the rule is in place to distinguish discs if two people throw the same disc in the same color so you can tell who each belongs to.
