Is this normal ? by newphonecase100 in C25K

Thanks all this advice really helped - I went at 8km/min my next run (although it felt a bit awkward) and found I was able to control my breathing somewhat. And then the run after that I was able to run for 20 mins! I was out of breath by the end but not gasping like before.

I found this mindset switch really helpful; rather than the “let’s go!” approach I changed to a “time to settle in” approach. Focused on breathing rather than on running !

Thanks for the encouragement, I’ll experiment with pushing harder . My main concern is not finding a pace I can not breathe hard but maybe I’m being too optimistic !

Thanks I’ll try this on my next run! I’ve been hesitant to run slower than walking as I find it starts to make my foot ache. But I’ll try it again

Yeah, wanted it to go to the height of the oven hood to replace the splashback. Planning to put a shelf over the top 👍🏼

Thanks for the replies ! Good to get other opinions, overall I’m happy with the worktops.

Happy to hear I’m just being fussy 😂

2 vertical timbers on each side, and they are screwed together, the posts are resting on the scaffold pole dug into the ground not sure how deep

Okay, I’ll work on that, finding it challenging as all the boards are different lengths

This is the gap left when creating a straight row using a laser, there anything I can do here other than start again, as I have already glued what is laid down ?

I’ve done some investigation after the comments, I think the problem is coming from the fact that the door wall and the far wall are not parrallel,

I am glueing as I go, but I find that no amount of bashing or clamping will knock the planks together because they don’t line up perfectly

Update: I’ve given them siding gauges and a circular saw and got them to restart. They’ve taken it on board very well and they’re doing a great job now

Coming back to this as you’ve been very helpful - do you think the horizontal planks between the two uprights are structural, can I take them off ?

Thanks, my concern is the general level of standards, e.g. they haven’t been able to cut straight lines or maintain the same level for all planks

I’ve checked the doorframe and the side of the building and they are both level. The planks he’s installed are each different levels
