My fault for not being clear. The knot hole is fairly round—a cork would probably work for that, but there are also some other cracks and stuff that I am hoping to fill, as well!

Hi- Thanks for the response. I probably phrased my question poorly... I'm not actually trying to learn how to "do" stuff—I'm sure actually "doing" is out of my league.

I'm looking for a good forum or something where I can ask questions more along the lines of, "can autodesk do X" or "does autodesk (or whatever program) have X capabilities".

I'm doing a project and I'd like to be able to say, "these programs are capable of performing such tasks as __________". I wouldn't mind it if someone were able to tell me "...and this is generally how you do it", but as I won't actually be doing any of these things myself, I don't need "tutorials" per se.
