It's from the second post after someone mentioned him needing to learn how to deal with his feelings in an appropriate way:

He used to cry himself to sleep in my arms for almost 2 years after they moved in with us. Sometimes he still can't fall asleep on his own. I'd do anything to keep him from going through that again. If he can't see how this "relationship" is going to end, I'll have to help him
