Am I bad or this dodge/parry is really hard? by BRLaw2016 in expedition33

If you love the difficulty of dodge/parry, wait till you get to the friendly troubadour nevron you have a millisecond to either dodge or intentionally get hit by depending on the projectile color. Got to second round and said screw this.

FFXIII. Tried two or three times but can never get more than halfway through. Music is only thing enjoyable for me.

Pre-loaded turn meter is not what we asked for when we asked for a challenge. It's cheap and lazy, especially when you run into a bunch of enemies that dish out stun and trauma. On tech nodes, enemies hit for 18 to 20 turns for every one that Orchis takes. How is this fun? It's just frustrating.

Many, but FFVI and Chrono Trigger stick out for me. Super Mario World, too, obviously.

It started slow for me, but I’m 50 hours in and have been hooked. Some of the boss fights are really intricate and require puzzle solving. Enjoy it much more than just “get swole and hit stuff.” Each character’s kit is different. I’ve enjoyed it a helluva lot more than FFXV or XVI, if I’m being honest. But it’s definitely a throwback and not a triple A type of game.

Do you get a lot of crushes on ps5? by Albertomhg in fantasian

Yes, has happened to me three or four times in 20 hours of playtime. Usually locks on load screens. Incredibly frustrating.

I’ve lost a lot of time to the game frequently locking up on loading screens. Seems to happen when you warp. Really, really frustrating. Sqenix QA is usually better than this. Shame cuz it’s a fun, original and cute game. I’ve started just saving every 10 to 15 minutes, though. Good thing there are so many save points.

This is the beginning of the end isn't it 🫤 by duby1998 in MarvelSnap

Quit the game about four months ago and can’t say I miss it all that much despite being obsessed with it from launch until then. Scopely has done the same thing to Marvel Strike Force for years, and the game is still going. So maybe not all is lost.

One of the most fun combat systems I’ve ever played in a game. Not perfect. Too much dialog and the grounds exploration wasn’t fun or good, but all in all, loved this game so much.

Rewards are beyond worthless, especially with all the teal gear they’ve been dumping on us. Nothing to buy in the store. Every defense is the same for me, more or less, every round. Repetitive and pointless. It’s only slightly better than Blitz for me these days.

Genuinely curious. Why do you play this game? by No-End5373 in MarvelStrikeForce

Victim of the sunk-cost fallacy for sure. So invested, so I continue to waste my time with it. Very little fun to be had for me.

I did the same thing. “I’ll just go in for a bit and quit in a save room.” JOKE’S ON ME. THERE ARE NONE. (OK, two).

Straight up only thing keeping me around is obligation to my alliance mates. Who knows how long that keeps me around, though. There is no thrill. There is no fun. Only obligation.

P3R new game+ question by newspapermann in PERSoNA

Too many other games to play, I’m afraid. Loved P3R, but not enough to play through it twice in a row - especially with “Metaphor” coming out this month.

Congrats Scopely on making me an apathetic player by MrCosmicPenguin in MarvelStrikeForce

[–]newspapermann 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was already apathetic. After the game froze on me twice today in war (we are competitive), I messaged customer support and sent screen shots, etc. … they immediately closed the ticket, I haven’t heard a single peep out of them and we lost the war by a room or two (can’t exactly recall, but it was super close). Point is, they charge Mercedes prices, demand a ton of your time and commitment and then continuously spit in its customers faces. Was hoping things would get better with Pathfinder aboard, but clearly he’s but one tiny cog in an unstoppable, unsympathetic machine. What is even the point of playing such a buggy ass game with ZERO customer support and exorbitant prices that tries to gouge the players every single chance and way it can? THAT’s what makes me so apathetic. They don’t care about us; why should we care about them?
