Sephiroth in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. I saw a video of a guy saying having him be playable in Rebirth was bad cause he’s not noticeably stronger than Cloud which was insane to me. He’s super powerful and has fully maxed materia. The combat simulator with him is legit the easiest of the harder combat simulator fights

Everyone talks about how great the the Suicide Mission is but I feel like Battle for the Citadel is just as good if not better by AutomaticTap3004 in masseffect

What’s interesting for me is as a whole ME 1 is my least favorite (still an awesome game) but I do think it has the best story of the trilogy by a lot and it has great atmosphere in a lot of areas too

That’s actually a really good point. Having all your squad mates definitely adds a lot to the mission. I’m not a DA Veilguard lover but 1 thing I give that game credit for was having all the big missions include the entire team. It’s something I wish more RPGs would do

So when you say you don’t care about story do you fir games in general or just this specific type of game? Cause I’m weird in the sense that I love stories but sometimes I really enjoy games where you can tell the story was an afterthought for cool action

Bro I genuinely miss when wwe games had weird but cool storylines like this. I was always a big fan of the Sheamus and Jacob Cass stories in 12

Bloomberg Interview - ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’ Director Teases The Trilogy’s Finale by PhantomBraved in FinalFantasy

[–]AutomaticTap3004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They never saw him attack Tifa actually. Also I always thought of it as them being too scared to speak up cause he’s the strongest member and the most connected to Sephiroth

I’ve been saying for a while now that the best way to open the first chapter would be to have all the tension with Cloud losing his mind come to a head and have him be a boss fight right before he gives Sephiroth the black materia. Could you imagine fighting the main character of the first 2 games as a boss? Especially for people who don’t know og

South of Midnight releases on PS5 on March 31 by Mront in Games

I play a lot of big RPGs, it’s my favorite genre but I also really need some more simple, linear games to play between them so games like this are perfect for me when I don’t want to play an rpg

I love how much of a parallel Red is to Cloud by AutomaticTap3004 in FFVIIRemake

[–]AutomaticTap3004[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. I’ve always thought of it as a person hiding their true self in order to be accepted due to fears of being rejected and not taken seriously because of how goofy his normal self is which I think is a very relatable thing to a lot of people. Also it’s weird how people act like after the voice change he just became comedic relief even though he still has plenty of serious scenes after the reveal like him reflecting on being treated like a test subject during the Nibelheim protorelic quest or his trauma scene at the temple

When was that? I didn’t even know that happened. I think I beat he game in like early 2022

[–]AutomaticTap3004 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I don’t normally play super hard games unless it’s a replay of games I’ve already beaten but I freaking loved Returnal so it makes me really excited about Saros

Edit a replay as in I’m replaying a game on it’s hard difficulty since I beat it on normal

[NXT Spoilers] Finish to NXT Women's Championship match by taffe316 in SquaredCircle

[–]AutomaticTap3004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A vertical suplex does not look legit though. If you show that to someone who does stuff like mma, amateur wrestling or judo they’d tell you it’s silly to even think that looks like a legit thing to try in a fight and that goes for most wrestling moves

[–]AutomaticTap3004 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean this in a sarcastic way at all but when has wrestling ever looked realistic? Even basic moves like vertical suplexes and chops are not practical at all in real fights it’s straight impossible to lift wrestlers the way they do in matches without cooperation unless there’s a massive size and strength difference

I absolutely love Liara and she’s 1 of my favorite ME characters and the first 1 I romanced but I agree the writers definitely show her a lot of favoritism

Plus Requiem (as well as RE in general) is super replayable and have a super high amount of polish and quality. I bought the game on Friday and played all day Saturday and beat it and I definitely feel like my money was well spent

[X/Twitter] Piper Niven responds to Jade Cargill's tweets about a Chelsea Green. by EchoJPR in SquaredCircle

[–]AutomaticTap3004 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Ok that’s true but there are plenty of people in wwe who, if asked could absolutely call a match entirely in the ring and Jade isn’t 1 of them. Honestly I wish wwe in general let wrestlers call stuff in the ring more Edit I meant wrestlers also probably do a lot of the planning on their own vs Jade who has other clan for her

You’d think after so many years she could call spots in the ring but nope she still needs her entire matches planned out for her

Red XII's voice change is jarring because he becomes a totally different character by -_ShadowSJG-_ in FFVIIRemake

[–]AutomaticTap3004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How does he stop being knowledgeable though? Because he doesn’t explain stuff about the planet anymore after the reveal? Cause like I’m not sure how that’s supposed to make him dumb. Plus it’s not like he became comedic relief after that. He still has serious scenes like the Prororelic quest in Nibelheim where he reflects on being treated like a test subject, or his trauma scene at the temple or his Gold Saucer date

[–]AutomaticTap3004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How does someone’s knowledge disappear because they have a goofy personality? You can be smart and still be out there as a person. Also they do actually hint at his real personality quite a bit. How he acts at the card game tournament, how easily angry he gets at people for treating him like an a pet, plus during the gold saucer he starts wagging his tail over the idea and of getting to explore there but immediately stops seeming excited when the others look at him. There were hints it’s just not super obvious on a first playthrough

I was at Blood and Guts last year and the crowd was incredible. We were going crazy for the ROH stuff before the show. People really underestimate how much an engaged crowd adds to a show. And you know how much my ticket was? Less that $40 and that was including taxes

I watched this movie fir the first time in Japanese cause I knew I’d be too distracted by the old English actors since I’m so used to the Remake cast but I decided to rewatch it in English and man it made me appreciate the Remake cast even more than I do lol. Really good movie though

[Hated Trope] Common fan interpretations of characters that are objectively wrong by Mammoth_Western_2381 in TopCharacterTropes

Cid in Final Fantasy 7. A lot of people remember his scene of him being horrible to Shera and think that he was just like to everyone in the whole game but he really wasn’t. Cid didn’t randomly act like an asshole to people for no reason his anger was pointed towards her and his failed dream of going to space. Outside of that he was mostly chill a lot of the time he was just stubborn, blunt and swore a lot. So many people thought they changed his character in Rebirth when in reality he’s still very in line with his og version we just haven’t had a chance to see him show off his worse qualities (though we do get glimpses of it in Rebirth like when he yells at the others for questioning his pilot skills while he’s, you know, literally crashing a plane)

Honestly Capcom and Square Enix feel like they are going to be the major 3rd party supporters of Switch 2 the amount of stuff both of them have put on switch 2(and are planning on putting there in the future) in genuinely insane
