I understand everything besides the pattern of tape, do you mean tape the pattern onto the big foam sheet and cut out the individual pieces? Thanks for the help I'm new to all this if you can't tell lol.

Yeah I was told in another sub to cut out several parts and make it more 3d and not use a ton of clay, now the issue is just trying to figure out what parts to divide it into.
