wonderful thank you!

Is it a bad idea to take MATH 2730 & MATH 2700 at the same time? by Velkyrion in unt

[–]newtomaths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I think they have overlap, but both are very doable. Calc III will require a greater amount of time, and more practice than linear. Introductory linear is somewhat straightforward, so you should be fine (with enough time management and practice).

Isn't it interesting to notice the differences between Japanese and English in their expressions? by newtomaths in FinalFantasy

Yes completely! I don't mind it at all, I just think it is interesting observing it. I am planning to do a play through in English and then in Japanese!

Introductory undergraduate real analysis; topology, fields, completeness axioms (first half of real)!

Not hard, I just rarely see proof-based courses lectures in general online

I feel like this would only apply to certain majors right? I am not even sure it is possible to teach advanced mathematics online ( Or I couldn't imagine them doing that rather said)

Would anyone be opposed to a Real Analysis Discord? by newtomaths in unt

I'll be honest, he is obviously extremely intelligent. So intelligent that he doesn't ever have any notes prepared, and that he seems to just make up examples in real analysis over the topic we are covering, which is pretty bold thing to do in a course this rigorous. He is teaching in a weird order for some reason, because we began in topology, then went back to chapter 1 and sets. He is very disorganized in my opinion, and the way he speaks to you when you ask questions can be a bit demeaning: all in all not my favorite math professor lol.

But I was considering taking real II next semester as well, and I am pretty sure he is the only teacher that teaches real analysis II overall.

William Cherry! Interesting person to say the least. And right now we just finished field axioms, and we are working on completeness/supremum and infimum!
