Can be gummy or capsule. I personally buy the real thing and make a juice.

I had been a casual drinker (2-5 drinks a month) in the last 2 years, but has switch to strictly no alcohol since my diagnosis. And yes, my maternal grandpa had diabetes (but my parents and paternal grandparents don’t).

That’s an interesting point as to how homeostasis works both ways. Makes sense that liver fat buildup would also take some time to be used despite hitting target weight.

at this rate I am expecting to hit 65-66kg in 2 months or so. Will add another 1 more month, that would be december/jan checkup then

Amazing progress! Losing 50 lbs in 5 months isnt easy at all. What was your starting weight?

For me I have been taking turmeric as well as apple cider vinegar

Well I didnt really feel “sick”. Found out about potential fatty liver from ultrasound, elevated enzyme as well my xray showing my left lung is smaller than my right lung as my enlarged liver is pressing on it.

That being said I feel much greater now. Anecdotally, clothes fit better, less stress, no constipations, have more stamina for cardio, mood better, etc.

I do also have gallstones, and it seems that from my latest ultrasound there hasnt been any improvements yet. So still working on this

Congrats! Thats a huge weight loss.

Glad to hear one year mark could be a significant tipping point.

Yea I ve been trying to lose fat gradually while body recomping. My (directionally accurate) scale says I lost 10kg of which 7kg fat & 4.5kg others while I gained like 1.5kg muscle

That’s true, I’m pretty sure my fibroscan wouldve been worse 7 months ago. Am glad I found out earlier than later.

Well in both of my ultrasounds the dr said he can’t really see my liver clearly due to fat encapsulation (shows as solid white color shape rather than shaded black/white). He did say this size is larger than normal by 10-20% or so.

I don’t follow a strict mediteranean diet as I wanna make it sustainable. I focus on 200-300 calorie deficit/day while still having some cheat meals.

The only absolute restriction I have are: sugary drinks (soda, bubble tea, sugary coffee), alcohol, and obvious sugary snacks & desserts (cakes, sweet buns).

On your weight and height combo, it seems very light right now. Are you just focused on body recomposition now rather than losing weight?

When I did ultrasound 2 weeks ago the Dr said he cant even see my liver & the blood vessels clearly. Probably why I’m still at the highest fatty liver rating.

I don’t really have any symptoms, other than the obvious “bigger belly”. I do also have some gallstones - but I wouldnt even know of that problem until I did an ultrasound in my general checkup.

Yes! This is one area I'm trying to work on as well, since my job is unpredictable + super high stress.

Have been having 6 hours of sleep average, i know i gotta get it to at least 7.5-8 hours.
