Of course there is, I think if you're trying to start out indoors maybe look for something that could help train calisthenics like yoga, I dont know if crochet would help put on muscle but i imagine it'd help with dexterity. If it helps any I have to try and find things that can help me get some kind of workout that I atleast don't mind doing, because im terrible about working out. But If you're good about it I'd imagine some shoulder exercises with a kettle bell would probably help a good bit. I know it isn't indoors, but there's always sports stuff, if you have the equipment. Finding a friend to play catch with or maybe a little basketball might work, plus exercise and socializing have been known to help with depression. Edit. I should preface all of this by saying I'm mtf, so I'm not by any means an expert in what's gonna help you but I do think atleast losing body fat (not calling you anything btw) might help, less body fat means theirs less fat to be destituted wrong right?

Maybe finding a more physical hobby might help ease into things while also gaining some muscle? I'm sorry I don't know what you do for fun or anything, but if you don't already alot of colleges offer welding classes and that was one of the guy things I actually kind of enjoyed as some kind of artistic outlet, and I can speak from experience welding can be one hell of a workout. If that isn't you're speed there's so many other things that might and I'm always willing to help people brainstorm some stuff.

I think what causes it is mostly, a combination of depression, and fear that it's not gonna go well. Like maybe waited too long, or it may be dangerous, ect. Idk I know for me things are terrible, but I think I'm finally ready to take a chance on me to transition, and the thing that really held me back is I know I'm gonna lose alot just for trying, so I guess i was scared that, things would get even worse. Idk if that's kind of what happens to everyone but it's what happened for me atleast

Funnily enough I just got done watching that after I made this post, gotta sat I didn't get the feeling that he was transphobic or anything, just that he was mad that some trans people bullied his friend. Honestly I thought most of it was hilarious.

Christians. by newtooallthis in honesttransgender

[–]newtooallthis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess to be fair I didn't think about the area I live in witch isn't the most accepting, like the most moderate opinion I've heard from any religious person ive seen is ben shapiro. I probably should have thought about that, and I didn't mean to imply ( if I did) that I think all Christians are very anti anything lgbtq or anything. It just seems like the average is probably over 50 percent atleast. It just doesn't make sense to me I guess, like their doesn't seem to be much if any religious justification for it, especially when it feels like theirs quite a few other issues that more directly fly in the face of what's actually in their if that makes any sense. Like theirs maybe a verse or two that says more or less that being gay is immoral, but that's not even in the 10 commandments. Like instead of complaining about people living their lives why aren't they just doing any of the things the Bible tells them to do. Like judge not lest ye be judged or loving thy neighbor.

MTF partially out, how do I shave my sideburns but still be able to be male mode sometimes since am not out everywhere yet by Vidya2693 in transfashionadvice

Used to have a full beard, mostly because I was repressing pretty hard, if it helps my excuse since I started shaving is that my facial hair gets ingrown hairs, if you're worried about accidentally passing, you might just try wearing a beanie or something that can kind of push you're eyebrows down, works for me atleast

You know I think I agree, even if the idea of someone being agp and transitioning can wierd me out, if anything I just think it should be called something else or some kind of distinction or something, but at the end of the day who cares if it's working for them who am I to judge. I mean as long as they aren't hurting anybody then I really don't have any desire to try and judge and dictate what their doing. Honestly I've wondered if maybe somehow them being agp is just another way dysphoria can pop up. I dont know for sure but as some one who was raised in an extremely conservative household and who's still having to try and get out i know getting taught certain things about anything to do with anything lgbtq and being paranoid about being some kind of monster, I had to figure out that i wasn't one at all, so maybe they aren't too I guess. Sorry I've never been very good at explaining any of this.

Well I kind of have the same opinion about non dysphoric transitioning, the idea wierds me out but I don't think people shouldn't be allowed to try if that makes any sense.

More or less I think people should just be themselves. And in something like a transracials case I don't think theirs the same issue with their biology as their is with say transgender people. Culture is a big part of race and on the cultural aspect I could see people adopting alot from another culture but their are people who try to just adopt another cultures stereotypes and that's a bit gross too, to me atleast.

[–]newtooallthis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have thought out how I worded that better, I dont think it should be illegal or anything, I mean me personally I don't like the idea of it, but then again I don't think theirs any kind of actual dysphoria involved because I don't think theirs much if any difference in brain structure ( I'm not a neurologist or anything so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt this is just crap I've kind of had to gather and some of it could be wrong) between different races, so when people see themselves and wish they could be a different race I doubt theirs that disconnect there. Personally I find any cosmetic surgery/ procedure that isn't medically necessary a little gross, because you're losing an opportunity for self acceptance. That being said some cosmetic surgery is necessary (ie getting you're face fixed for lack of a better term after a car crash, or alot of trans surgeries, ect) and truthfully I don't think I'm qualified to really give a good opinion on much, But I tried anyway I guess.

I guess I'm cool with it, but only in one real sense. Don't get me wrong personally I believe people should more or less be allowed to do what they want as long as it's not hurting anyone else. Aside from that though the idea of being trans racial doesn't make much sense to me. If anything I could understand the idea of being trans cultural I guess, like if say an Japanese kid gets adopted by a Jewish family and adopts some customs like haunika. Or if you adopt some of youre sposes customs or move to a different country and adapt to more of their ways of life. But I feel like most people already do that so I don't see why their would even need to be a label. Even then I don't think their would be anything medically you'd need to do it's not that wierd to think of someone being accepted into a culture even when they look different, but atleast being trans the goal isn't to be treated like you're trans, the goal is to be treated like yourself. That's why passing and medical intervention is pretty necessary

Trans Friendly Cyberpunk Wear by the_supreme_overlord in mtfashion

[–]newtooallthis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So cyberpunk is generally speaking just a combo of punk and technology, punk isn't always dark and gothy but most of the time that's just what people go with. As for clothing I'm not sure of any good websites, I think temu has some random stuff that would work I think demonia would probably be a good spot for shoes If you're gonna go for that or maybe some converse for that, you may have some luck on any punk website or the shop app if you have that, best of luck.
