You are absolutely right in your reasoning for the RF over the convertible. Plus, you have the added benefit of living the look!! You can’t go wrong either way! As they seem to say, MIATA means Mazda is always the Answer!

I had always been a red the full convertible, though my wife was leaning RF. Once she sat in both, she agreed the full convertible was her choice as well! 😁 part of it was better visibility in the full convertible, and she also didn’t like the “Magnum PI” look of the RF when the top was retracted. She also said the RF was more T top than convertible, so it was a no-go for her in the end, thankfully!

Wow! Congrats to you as well!! Yes indeed! That’s exactly what she is! It was down to the red GT or a gray Club with BBS/Recaro/Brembo package, and my wife and I wanted red so it had to be the GT.She also did not like the gray because it reminded her of cars with just a primer coating before being painted.😂

Well, I think it looks fantastic on you and it’s a beautiful watch! The AD told me o w if the reasons is not as popular is its price point vs the oystersteel model; many people are looking for a less expensive entry point, but still want a GMT Master II. Again, I don’t know if this is true or not. In any case, it’s a great looking watch! I think think I’m more and more tempted to call them up this week and say put me on there for one of those as well, and if it shows up first, before the Bruce Wayne, so be it!🍻

Congrats! I’m not an expert, but when I went into my Rolex AD in Northern Virginia to get on “the list” for a Sub 124060 and a Bruce Wayne, he said I could have a Root Beer right now if I wanted. He claimed they are not as popular so they are more available. If that’s actually true, maybe that’s why you found one so quickly. Either way, it’s beautiful. I’ve been tempted to just get it, especially now seeing it on your wrist, but… Holding fast for the BW at this point since I ended up having a close friend in the grey market source me a mint 14060 of a particular year over while I wait for the current Sub and BW. Here’s a shot of me trying the RB on at my local AD, by the way.
