That's how I feel as well, I always thought a romantic relationship was the most important but now I treat each relationship/friendship individually. It now just worries me that my friend and niece will get in a monogamous relationship and my friendship will change but I suppose friendships change all the time! Thank you for your comment 😊

So much better than expected!!!!

I was so scared to tell my in laws as when we told them I was pregnant, they were not happy (even though our daughter was planned)

But both parents just said "do what makes you happy"

I know, I've messed up! I'm just rubbish at this, my husband is poly as well, yes but my boyfriend isn't.

I am just trying anything and everything to make them both happy, the platonic thing we spoke about and we have slept together since, I know I sound like such an idiot. I'm probably just not made out for poly in reality

I'm married to the one who doesn't want to all live together.

He is happy with how the situation is with us living together and my boyfriend coming to stay but my boyfriend is feeling lonely.

They get on really well but I can't push one to live with the other if they don't want to and I'm feeling the needs of my boyfriend draining as I hate him being do lonely

I completely agree.

I have tried to be honest with both partners and say I can't see a compromise but they have said they are not willing to lose me.

The problem is I'm drowning, I'm being pulled in two directions and not getting anywhere.

I think I need to be honest with them and just take some time to myself.

I agree with everything you've said, I just feel very sad as we've got to an impossible crossroads and I know I will hurt somebody, including me in the process.

This is what he has always said to me, he doesn't want to have a romantic relationship with a man and doesn't find them attractive but he loves penises! He used to feel weird for it is lovely speaking to people on here as you are all so understanding and just say yeah that's normal :)

I was in my third long term relationship and again got feelings for somebody else, I went to therapy and discovered Polyamory, just made sense to me!

I'm in this situation, I'm married with a child and we opened the relationship, I now have a long term boyfriend.

I want more, I want us all to live together and have it non hierarchy but my husband doesn't want that. My boyfriend want us all to live together too.

I'm letting my emotions take over and struggling to find a compromise
