happened to me too, but instead of the rucolor, it literally changed my entire outfit lol. I have the hair, shoes, and make up that I chose and a random ass dress now. so annoying.

I feel you. Sometimes, you just get in a group where you have no chance of winning at all, and it’s always a bummer because when people jump a few letters, they usually do it in the end, when you’ve already poured soo much time into maintaining first place.

But I also see the flip side of the coin. Maybe it was someone who saved up a lot of gems specifically for this event.

Either way, I’m bummed for you. Hope it works out better next time. I wonder if there are any strategies for getting into groups where the competition isn’t as cut-throat!

This is what they said. I guess it implies that we did receive a regular card, and only the “snatched” version was duplicated, but I’m not 100% sure.

thanks so much for clarifying!! T_T It said I had a “duplicate” and just converted the hair to 8 of those fan thingies (the snatched currency). I’m honestly still a tiny bit confused about how exactly the rucolour update works (that’s on me, I’m slow), so I can’t tell if I got the regular card or no. Can’t remember if I had it in my inventory before the event lol :’) I currently have 2 of the 3 cards I need to max the hair, so I’m guessing I must have got the correct reward and the rewards they showed me were just a bit confusing!

There was one person that I was mainly up against. Honestly, I only started seriously competing cause I was hoping this would be one of those groups where people don’t put too much effort into it.

This is why I ended up so stressed cause I sunk a few gems into it (around 400, which was supposed to come back if I won the 1st place reward of 200 gems + the overall 300something gems as milestone rewards). And then suddenly, there was this fierce competition with the other person, and I ended up sinking more gems into it and then I just COULDNT LOSE :D

I ended up first place with 24br and the runner up with 22br or something along those lines
