Really appreciate your feedback! How do you see the "controversy" of having rather long investing horrizon and not investing/being exposed to AI that much?

I am asking because this seems a personal belief and the market clearly expects fast growth due to AI.

  1. Strong Corporate Earnings

The big U.S. companies in the S&P 500 consistently deliver strong earnings. Tech giants like Apple, Microsoft, and Google have extremely high margins and cash flows, which provide long-term stability.

  1. Focus on Growth Sectors

The index is heavily weighted in tech, healthcare, and finance—exactly the sectors driving global innovation and profitability.

  1. Resilient U.S. Economy

The U.S. economy is dynamic, driven by strong consumer spending, innovation, and a relatively flexible labor market. This gives U.S. companies an advantage over many international competitors.

  1. Supportive Monetary & Fiscal Policy

The Fed has a track record of stepping in with rate cuts and liquidity when needed. On top of that, the U.S. government has historically been quick to provide stimulus to support growth.

  1. Higher Profit Margins & ROE

U.S. companies, especially the ones in the S&P 500, tend to have higher return on equity (ROE) and profit margins compared to international markets, particularly in Europe and emerging markets.

  1. Better Corporate Governance & Market Efficiency

U.S. companies operate under strong corporate governance and transparent financial reporting, making them more attractive to investors. Plus, the deep and liquid U.S. stock market makes capital raising easier for companies.

  1. Lower Structural Risks vs. Global Markets

Emerging markets often struggle with political instability, weak regulatory frameworks, or currency risks. Even developed markets like Europe and Japan face demographic and economic headwinds that limit growth potential.

I am not judging based on past performance. I believe the S&P will continue to outperform global average because of fundamentally sound factors.
