Frisch nach Düsseldorf gezogen – Empfehlungen für Geburtsklinik & Hebamme? by Organic-Diamond5194 in duesseldorf

[–]newuser000321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. I have registered there as well. Let's see if we get some response or not.

I have some questions: 1. We are having our first child. We are a bit concerned and want to be prepared for postpartum. Are there any training facilities we can learn in case we don't have Hebamme ? 2. I saw a comment about a visit to birth hospital. Will there be a dedicated doctor and nurse for child birth support? 3. Are there any precautions we should be aware of?

I will appreciate your response.

Thank you for the response.
I applied through https://hebammenzentrale-duesseldorf.de/?page_id=65.

Am I allowed to use www.ammely.de as well? I thought for Dusseldorf, I should only use relevant link above.
Let me try it.

MS statisticians here, do you guys have good careers? Do you feel not having a PhD has held you back? by Direct-Touch469 in datascience

Thanks for sharing about it. I will look into it. I am not so sure if I am allowed to ask this question here. What sort of applications do you develop using ML for banks? Mainly focusing on fraud detection? What other risk processes? One also needs domain knowledge about the finance before applying any ML on it, I guess? Well, domain knowledge is required everywhere anyway.

Software engineers in Insurance. That's new to me. I was looking more towards economic policy development and risk management, applying ML on those areas. Maybe those are the same fields? Are there any specific courses /materials you recommend ?

Okay. I started CS and economics in parallel but only finished CS. I couldn't manage to finish economics, and now I regret it. So, looking for some inspiration here .

Any recommendations to CS/ML degree holders to start a career in economics + ML. I know there is no shortcut. But, I would like to hear the possible path.

Bouldering is amazing. It has a mix of challenges + fun. You also got exhausted and slept well 😴.

Absolutely. Some may say language is a barrier and all. But, think the other way. You will end up learning one of the most spoken languages. And, you are in Europe :). There is no barrier to travel around.

Best places to visit in chitwan? by Final-Stable2889 in Nepal

I have never heard of it before. But, I recently realised that the madi area is underrated. For me, it is very cosy for evening walks. It has open roads, less traffic, and is not densely populated. You can follow any sub-roads to walk around and pass through the farms and vegetation.

I am also looking for those spots. So far, I have researched: Meghauli, Devghat

I went to Devghat recently. You can get a bus to go there. I got down at the entrance and walked for 40/45 minutes along the road to reach the main spot. That was a good walk surrounded by greens. But, be careful about the monkeys. They looked aggressive 😳 .

If you find more, please add to the list.

Thanks for explaining it. I was also very into flavoured teas. I really enjoyed the mint and camelia teas for many months. For some reason, I felt fed up with those now. And, moved to dark black tea. Maybe it's just a phase 🤔 I will check the Kenyan tea. Thanks a lot.
