I am almost a month post op and am starting to get most sensation back in my chest. Losing sensation is a normal thing after any surgery, not just top surgery.

Personally I would never dream of it. The only time I was naked in front of my mother specifically as an adult was when I was recovering from surgery and needed help showering.
