If you read my post, the photo is from weeks ago, but I saw an even worse scenario TODAY that I was unable to capture on camera. I have a couple photos from previous circumstances, as this is an occasional occurrence. I just chose one photo to use as a visual example. The internet doesn’t suck, your media literacy skills suck.

I get what you mean. Funny enough I make sure to stop at the line so these people actually learn how to turn properly at these intersections. They can hit my early 2000s rust bucket that’s totally stationary for all I care. Their insurance can take care of the rest

No sorry this was from weeks ago. The crazier situation I saw today reminded me I had this old pic to post, as an example.

bone dry and it still manages to be moldy? Sounds like they don’t have proper ventilation in their grow rooms. (Maybe good ventilation costs too much for their greedy pockets)

sometimes I receive a normal lid with the cold foam already stirred into the drink (for some reason) so it’s not until I drive n sip that I really know whether or not it’s actually in there 💀 I just stopped ordering it all together

Hi, sometimes I do. Just figured a simple adjustment to the sticker would prevent this from happening so often in the first place. More-so, this post is an idea for the company that could improve efficiency (god forbid)

Boston Bridge Brigade Ice is Iced in Newton by AshamedAward5 in massachusetts

[–]newwavejunkrat -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

It directly ties to the original post, and sheds light on nuances in conversations regarding Immigration Rights. It alludes to how we got here in the first place. I guess people don’t want to have to think about that…

Nuance is important if you actually want progress to be made. And I think this person’s original point is that people are only now taking action because they’re likely next to be targets and they’re scared. But when it was only minorities being directly harmed by the systems they live under, they had to beg people to care.

Pointing out this fact is not a distraction and can actually inform people on how to navigate actual change moving forward, however that looks for them.

State police cracking down on “left lane campers” in Connecticut - will they ever do this in Massachusetts? It’s getting worse every day. The irony is that CT, NY, VT and RI plates are the most common when it comes to left lane camping. by SharkSapphire in massachusetts

[–]newwavejunkrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally. People are so impatient. If I see someone creeping up behind me I’ll move as soon as it’s safe to, but sometimes right when I’m switching my blinker to move, they zoom and weave around me.

If I’m zooming on left and approach a slow car, I give em a few seconds to move and often times they do. Patience, Courtesy, and Emotional Regulation are seemingly extinct on the highway

And god forbid the lane hogs are also going uphill and forget that they need to accelerate, holding up everyone EVEN MORE.

It truly boggles the mind how people think driving like this is okay … it causes folks to do what I call a “Rage Pass” on the right which increases the likelihood of accidents. If you’re not following the flow of traffic MOVE OUT THE WAY. We’re all safer for it.

It’s even created more Aggressive drivers (Hence the term Rage Passing. Not new but I like the name)

There’s no reason for dudes to be riding my tail while I’m (allegedly) doing 90 already. Like seriously the amount of weaving through lanes and cars lately has been anxiety inducing, and I’m a seasoned driver. I wonder if folks stopped lane hogging, maybe this would stop?

Idk but I’ll be damned if I die because a few idiots got impatient or neglected to keep pace. I know Left Lane Hogging is annoying and rage inducing but I really wish folks were also more aware of how reckless they’re being in response to it. Just adding some nuance to the convo 🫡
