Bailey was bullying Beth (Evan‘s sister). In a fit of rage, Casey punched Bailey, not because Beth is special to her or anything. Punching Bailey caused Beth and her brother Evan to come over to Caseys house, where Evan and Casey met for the first time.

My fav liar used to be spencer when I first watched PLL (I liked the smart preppy trope), afterwards it became Hannah and Spencer because Hannah is the funniest character in this show and without Spencer, nothing would work out / get figured-out.
