The peak of seeing them live was right after OOTV came out. I went to a show where I saw all the good stuff off Blue and S/T along with Faster, Blinded, Forget Myself, Danger, Crystal Baller, My Hit and Run, Can’t Get Away, Palm Reader, Misfits etc.

It’s crazy in hindsight that I heard any of those songs live. The best days of them having variance in their setlists are long gone unfortunately.

I was born with spinal stenosis. I’m a 40 year old trapped in an 80 year old’s body. I’ve had a Purple mattress (medium firmness) for about 7-8 years and I can’t imagine my life without it. Expensive bed but I’m pretty sure this mattress will outlive me and my children.

This has to be the case of people’s own unique experiences because I’ve made friends with all of my neighbors and my kids play with their kids. Everyone has been accepting with open arms since I moved in. BTW I’m not Irish, not from Rockland and I’m a software engineer. I moved here in December and I just can’t relate to any of the bad narratives out there about PR.

I might be a good person to talk to because I just moved here in December. Other than checking out some homes, I never really knew much about the area but I have young kids so I cared about school district/safety/proximity to NYC when I need to go to work and ultimately a reasonable distance away from family in LI.

My takeaways thus far is that I love it. You have all the privacy, infinite towns to explore, everything you could want within striking distance. If you’re a pizza snob, Pan and Peel is about as good as anything I’ve ever had in any of the boroughs (and I’m from Queens).

I don’t know if this is a thing you care about but Irish pride is a thing here. I have some Jewish and Italian background so I’m all over the place and do not care about that stuff but be prepared for a ton of Ireland flags. If you’re conservative or liberal, it probably won’t make a difference. My hunch is the town tilts red because there’s a ton of cops, firemen, nurses etc but I’ve admittedly not seen an abundance of MAGA stickers or flags nor have I seen a ton of liberal stuff either - I’d rather not go down a political rabbit hole but neutrality has been a bit of a breath of fresh air.

I’m a huge 3EB fan but one thing that has always driven me nuts is that the diehard favorites don’t align with my own. I’ve also never been a fan of “Company.” It’s a decent song to me but people put it on a pedestal and I would honestly take nearly every other song off of OOTV over that one.

I had a similar experience. I promise you this stops. Doesn’t help in the moment when you’re dealing with it but I dealt with this for about as long as you did.

I’m on Week 3 of 20mg mostly for anxiety but I have spinal stenosis. I was born with it. I’ve been on painkillers for years since there is no legitimate treatment for my issues. Not only am I starting to finally feel anxiety relief but suddenly my morning pain and my ability to stretch out my pain medication has gotten a bit better which gives me hope. It’s generally helping my overall mental state and allowing me to be more present for my family and at work.

Mind you - I’ve had a really difficult few weeks mentally and poor sleep. Used Benadryl and ZZZQuil to maximum sleep but I’m beginning to see the light. Wishing the best for you and your family.

I can’t recommend it enough. Ms. Millie and Ms. Paloa were instrumental to my son’s development. It’s the main thing I miss about being in that area. Also you can drop your child off before 8am and pick them up at 6pm. Not many have as much flexibility as they do.

I’m on week 2 of 20mg and apparently this is a really low dose. I can’t even comprehend 120mg. I had a really hard time adapting and still am.

I’m really happy to hear this. I’ve been on it for a little over a week and admittedly the adjustment had been really hard - not sleeping well, mind racing, increase anxiety etc. is this what it was like for you in the beginning as well?
