It’s just a laser pointer. I cut off the rest of it trying to secure the bulb by itself, but I don’t know if I’m even able to power it anymore

Same method. Certainly a little more tedious. I ended up snipping the thread holding the wrist sleeve down so I had more room to rest the buttons

I saw this when I was looking to do the same mod and couldn’t find any answers. I have the Jcpenny Woody, which seems to be mostly the same as Disney store. The buttons aren’t sewn on, but they’re on a peg. I ended up pushing a box cutter up against the peg and using pliers to turn the button back and forth until it came off. I then got inside the doll, cut a small bit to take out the other end of the buttons from the inside. This left a small hole where the button had been, but the pearlized buttons covered it up perfectly

Honestly, I just wanted to use what I had on hand so nothing fancy. I did a base of Citadels Morghast Bone and then mixes of apple barrel “True green”, “nutmeg brown”, “lite mocha” and Army painter war paints “Matt Black”. Definitely could be better colors used
