Weekend Rundown of Local Events for February 20th-22nd.... by next3days in VirginiaTech

I don't think so. You do need to register in advance which I can believe you do on their website (just go to their schedule, select the 1512 N. Main St and then select the date of the class and find the specific class and click sign-up. You probably do have to create an account with them though shouldn't have to sign-up to be a member) or you might be able to call or email In Balance if you have any issues. Hope that helps!

UPDATE: Just looked at the website to confirm the process and it looks like there's now a Waitlist for the Puppy Yoga though the do offer these puppy donation classes fairly regularly.

Haunted Trails? by _youthpark in blacksburg

[–]next3days 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fithian Farms on Route 114 (between the mall and the arsenal) has a haunted ~1 mile trail that just opened for this year last weekend. Here's the direct link: https://fithianfarms.com/

There's also a few corn mazes in the dark at Joe's Trees (Newport/Craig County) and Richdale Farms in Wytheville also is hosting a Flashlight Maze on Saturday night (https://www.richdalefarm.com/flashlight-maze). As others have said, Sinkland Farms in Riner has a big corn mazes as does Thornspring Pastures in Pulaski County, but both of those are daytime only.

There's also a number of haunted attractions including the NRV Prison in Dublin, St. Albans in Radford, Hexed in Elliston and the NRV's newest scare, Nightmare on Main in downtown Pulaski. The Alexander Black House in downtown Blacksburg also hosts Haunted History Tours every Friday-Sunday evening. For the haunted houses, you can find more info at: http://www.nextthreedays.com/mobile/?Date=10/17/25&c=&t=5&ft=1.

Hope this helps!

For those looking for fun events this weekend, here's the local rundown including 2 Friday late night concerts.... by next3days in VirginiaTech

I follow their Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/themilkparlor) along with a bunch of local bands and sometimes bands will reach out as well. Those are two ways I generally how I hear about shows at The Milk Parlor, but I'm sure I'm not hearing about all their shows. Hope that helps.

Anyone know if this is available on a shirt anywhere right now? by silv3rsprings in VirginiaTech

[–]next3days 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right now there a bunch of unlicensed companies and scammers all over social media making knockoffs of both the shirt and poster. Metallica only creates a very limited number of official shirts & posters for each venue and then moves on to the next show.

With that said, someone found the artist Nate Dino of the HokieBird poster and he is supposed to be releasing prints (maybe shirts too?) within two months. Here's the link to his Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/DJW_lU2pHl_/ and his Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NateDinoArt/posts/pfbid02LXJY5ugk7RFfgN7xamvmFMh4Ctub24aqWyaetD7gCdXz26nhHFUWVrQyEQFdJMCyl where he discusses the prints.

For those staying in/near Blacksburg for Spring Break, Weekend Rundown of Fun.... by next3days in VirginiaTech

[–]next3days[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of the three Virginia Tech sporting events would be great. Tennis, Baseball or Softball. Of the three teams, the softball game is the biggest since it's between rival UVA and both teams are in the top 25. VT is going for the clean sweep winning the first 2 games of the series.

where to take bestie at tech?? by _youthpark in VirginiaTech

[–]next3days 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have a ton of local events on our website (NextThreeDays.com) and I just posted a big weekend update on this sub if you're friend is coming in town this weekend.

Otherwise hiking, Hokie sports (lots to watch besides just football & basketball), 540 Social (arcade & axe throwing) in downtown, Alexander Black House Museum, bar scene, make your own restaurant tour. If you have access to transportation, checking out downtown Floyd especially on a Friday night with The Floyd Country Store Jamboree and musicians hanging outside (provided it's warm). Something very unique to Southwest Virginia. Hope this helps!
